Stele Dedicated to Amun-Re, by the Foreman Baki

This round-topped stele is carved in low relief and painted in several colors. The pictorial plane is divided into two registers, the upper one containing two rams facing each other. The animals, with cobras rising on their foreheads, wear tall headdresses composed of two tall plumes with a solar disk at the center.

Between them is a small offering table with lotus flowers. The mirror image hieroglyphic inscription refers to the rams and reveals their divine nature as that of Amun-Re. In the register below, foreman Baki is shown in the pose of adoration.

US Air Force Colonel Kim Nichole Campbell AKA "Killer Chick". Campbell was decorated for piloting her A-10 Thunderbolt II back to base in Iraq after taking heavy anti-aircraft artillery damage in aerial combat over Baghdad during Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2003. After landing, ground crews discovered that her A-10 had sustained damage to one engine and to the redundant hydraulic systems, disabling the flight controls, landing gear and brakes, and horizontal stabilizer.

Stele of Dedia with Osiris Isis and Horus

In the panel below the gods Dedia, chief of draftsmen of Amun, and his wife bring them offerings. the inscription reads ".....so that they may grant them all kinds of good and pure things, wine, milk, the gentle breath of the north wind, to be blessed in heaven, rich on earth, acquitted in the world of the dead, to follow the procession of Sokaris with boots of onions on the dawn of the neck...". It continues "he said: o you all the priests and scribes of the temple of Osiris who will read this stele in honor of;eternity, recite the funeral prayers offering and pouring water on the ground, for the chief of draftsmen of Amun, Dedia, and for his wife."
