Life Apps
It’s 2021 and the pandemic is still present as ever. One year, that’s how long we’ve all been aching to go out and meet our friends and families who are near to us or are far from us. As devastating as it is, due to the virus, the new normal means we are to travel less and gather with family and friends less than what we were used to. That is why I am very grateful for the presence of mobile apps such as fitness apps, Facebook, Skype, virtual games, and other more which helped us cope with life during this pandemic.
Mobile apps have become our number one best friend. It has helped us in finding ways to earn from home, connect with our friends and families, monitored our health, and other more. There are multiple apps which helped improve our life. We have fitness apps which offer a lot of applications that focuses on either just diet, weight, productivity, or all together. We also have apps which connect us to friends, families, classmates and other more. These apps would be Facebook, Instagram, Skype, and all the apps that provide voice calls, video calls, and exchange of text messages. We are also able to grow our businesses and even work from home, pay for our daily expenses, all because of these apps.
As we go on about our days, I insist that we try to search on apps which we know could help improve our way of life and how we can help others through it as well. (photo by: sarah perez)

It was an ordinary afternoon when we decided to sit at the top of your unfinished house. There were pine cones laying around the unfinished floors, envious clouds taking over the sun, sirens going off from afar, dogs barking on about some kid running down the hillside, and some girl two blocks away singing her lungs out to no one by Alicia Keys on the karaoke. She was telling me something about how her dog had a funny habit of snoring like a pig. It was quite hilarious. As she continued to tell me more stories, a crazy thought came into mind, “Should I kiss her? A kiss, it’s all so new to me. Maybe I shouldn’t. I mean, of course I shouldn’t! I don`t know.” I didn’t realize I had been staring at her lips the whole time she had been talking, until they just stopped moving. Because my lips were against her very own now. As the kiss broke off, I told her I was sorry. I was sorry because we were never going to share the perfect kiss at the top of the Wiener Riesenrad at sunset, like Jesse and Celine, two of her favorite characters from the film "Before Sunrise". But who could have stopped me? The sunset may not have been around for her, but it was to me. The sky was of a pink shade (her cheeks), a hint of red (her lips), a little shade of dark under her eyes due to her endless love for reading, a shade of white (pale skin that suited her so well) and blue (her eyes that drowned me in a pacific of blue). I didn't think the sunset would have been around on such a gloomy day, but there she was, the view —the sunset to the perfect kiss.

I am the undecided. Where the simple, "what do you want to be when you grow up?", is a much more difficult question to answer than a mathematical one. I am the girl who will give her teachers different answers each year she is asked to stand up in class to state herself as a future this and that.
Why? Because I am the girl who day dreams of one day having my fingers brush through the strings of my guitar as I sing an original of mine to a crowd of pleased people. But, I am also the girl who wants to have her fingers stained with ink as I write about love, pain, and nostalgia. I could also be 40,000 feet up in the sky, serving you a good cup of coffee and reminding you to fasten your seat belt. Where as I land on ground, I could be behind a lens capturing great moments such as concerts, weddings, portraits, nature, and the world. Then there's also me, hoping to juggle all these things as I manage a good successful business.
A writer, a singer, a photographer, a flight attendant, and a businesswoman. There are so many things I want to be in my life despite the little time we are all given. But I choose to see the world in a way where my future can't be confined or bound to just one single thing or word. Because I am the undecided, and I guess I've come to give that word another meaning, "Dreamer".
