the problem with Lynda is not knowing which one to watch or which video is going to be the most relevant it then becomes a game of reading the thumbnail and title.

A recap of keyframes in addition to some lighting tips, very helpful an important factor to get right which if not learnt can have an obviously bad look on a video which is not professional and to me would feel like a niggle all of the time.

the dry point to me seems to be a lot of work but actually speaking to John there are ways to mix up the process for example you can block some parts of the metal plate so those parts covered aren't painted onto the paper as it goes through the roller.

here you can see the close up of using a sharp blade to scratch into the aluminium plate where ink will be pushed into the crevices.

above is some more artwork in the same gallery in Cornwall which displays drypoint simply used in black and white but to a high detail aesthetic which i am a massive fan of.

Dry Point (intaglio) 30th March
To me an unknown print process that turned out to be a comparison between the other two printing processes.

For sure the brief introduction for screen printing and the different sub techniques it offers has been great to play around with.

As a finished print mine is up in my room I like to look into the way colours show up and what gets my attention each time is different.

Again always on the lookout for the way designers use screen printing as a technique. In an art gallery in St. Ives had these landscaped images as screen printing, to my surprise it didn't look like screen printing i know but it just shows how they use the technique.
