As a stay-at-home mom, my days are filled with half-eaten apples, crayons, and tea parties. I help my kids explore and discover the world around them and it brings me great joy to be able to walk with them every step of the way. In the early days of motherhood, this was not always the case though. I struggled with postpartum anxiety for the first year and I felt very lost. During this time, I dove headfirst into learning how to dye yarn. It helped me get out of my head for a while and eventually, it became a huge passion of mine and helped lift me out of a tough spot ❤️ My dye studio is my sanctuary and it brings me so much joy to be able to share my passion with all of you ❤️ Fun Fact: This shirt (which of course is the perfect dye studio shirt) is by Taylor @fiber.for.the.people. Taylor's journey to becoming an Indie Dyer (which she documents on her Youtube channel) was a huge inspiration to me on my journey! If you're not following her already. *Sigh* still working on sock number two while my sweet girl snoozes next to me ♥️ I'm really trying to get this off my needles so that I can move on. I am definitely more of a monogamous knitter. I very rarely have a ton of projects going at once. I think it's just how my brain works. I like to start a project and see it through to completion before moving on.
