-Huey.

As before I close my eyes last night, I uttered this:
Lord, point me in the direction of Your will... May I not need problems and persecution for You to get my attention.
...
The next day, just this morning... I had an opportunity to hear powerful testimonies shared boldly by different people - changed by God! Hearing them moves my heart and strengthen my faith to follow the voice inside me...
Hahaha... God, Ikaw na! You are so faithful.
Thank You for leading me to the direction of Your will.
Excited to hear and witness more @ NT2...

At some point of your life, you will encounter people-who will never appreciate what you do to what you do and what you do for them. This people will never understand you because they choose to accept only what they perceived – according to their personal expectations, never even care to read between the lines. For no matter how hard you try to reach out to them and at least to let them know why you decide a thing out of things and choose to leave the unsaid-hard, painful and unjust truths because you believe they will only understand when they are ready to be open, or perhaps in God’s time. Maybe I could add this statement to the thought “that difficult people are very important, ‘coz they teach you tolerance and acceptance… difficult people are just one of the ways God teaches us to expand beyond our egos and accept other perspectives on life” and reminding you to check yourself too, teaches you to be considerate to others and not do what you experience they do to you…

Bloom (From the Joseph, king of dreams.)
You've seen the damage words can do, When full of thoughtless pride, Now heed the wiser voice in you, That calls to be your guide, The flowers reaching for the sun are all uniquely blessed, But though each is special not a one is better than the rest Bloom, bloom, may you know, The wisdom only time breeds, There's room, bloom and you'll grow, To follow where your heart leads, Bloom and may you bring, Your colours to the vast bouquet, There's room, bloom, learn one thing, Your gifts are meant to give away...

Scripture: 2 Timothy 1:6
Topic: God's Gift.
By Ptra. Faythe Santiago
For this reason I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you through the laying on of my hands.-2 Timothy 1:6
How do we fan into flame the gift of God in you:
1. Pray-this is like air that makes the fire gets more intense and huge. 2. Word-this is the fuel to make the fire start and consistent-without this, you will die. 3. Fellowship with The Holy Spirit-a prayer without the Greatest Helper, your prayer is like a message sending failed. 4. Study-invest, read books, research, attend conferences and seminars - God use other believers too to talk to you.  5. Practice-faith without action is dead!  6. Excel-appreciate your God's gifts, master your gifts-it will protect you, it will testify Christ, it will reflect God in you.

"Jesus never intended that the enjoyment of His presence would replace the enjoyment of the presence of Christian friends."
Or to put it another way, when Christ died so that you could enjoy Him supremely and forever, He did not nullify the fellowship of believers, He created it. Christ always intended that your friendship with Him would be the HEARTBEAT of your friendship with others. His presence would be the central joy of Christian friendship. And the joy of Christ-centered friendship would magnify the worth of Christ as the common treasure---You are amazing Lord God… I thank You for the wonderful birthday celebration You gave me… I thank You for everything you are giving me and not giving me… I simply want to experience Your presence super and deeply on my very first birthday as a Born-Again Christian - I did with the eyes and warm smiles and hugs of those who came, You surprised me… ^_^ Truly You are the God of Surprises… Lord I am amazed by You… to all people who loves me, to all who don’t love me… to my sisters, to all who remembered, and greeted me, Thank You… to my Christian Family, I pray to grow with all of you brothers and sisters in the Lord… I may not talk or you may not, I appreciate you, yes you… all of you encourage me to follow Christ-The Author of My Salvation, My Bosom Friend… and special thanks to those who went extra-mile to be with me yesterday… and Faythe -mybestfriend in Christ… the beloved of the Lord, Thank you… God Bless everyone.

  1. A person who find a high degree of pleasure or satisfaction in the Word of God. (2 but whose delight is in the law of the Lord,-Psalm 1:2a)
&
2. A person who intend and reflect in the Word of God( and who meditates on his law day and night.-Psalm 1:2b)

which yields its fruit in season -2.  Produces fruits of God's Spirit(Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness - Galatians 5:22)
and whose leaf does not wither— whatever they do prospers. -3. Infinitely gives life and shades like the leaves on the trees, to people around them and successful in whatever they do.

Signs of foolishness. By Bishop Manny Santiago How do we diagnosed foolishness? First we should identify the symptoms or mga babala. Though it is sometimes painful, it also serves and helps us to know that oneself is sick. 1. [Resentment kills a fool, and envy slays the simple. -Job 5:2] 2. Being easily annoyed - madaling mapikon.. At mabilis mainis... Di na marunong magtimpi.. Walang pinalalampas kahit na maliit bagay... nakikipag-away... Madaling galitin. Eto yung mga taong walang inner peace... [Fools show their annoyance at once, but the prudent overlook an insult. -Proverbs 12:16, Do not love sleep or you will grow poor; stay awake and you will have food to spare. -Proverbs 20:13] 3. [Do not rebuke mockers or they will hate you; rebuke the wise and they will love you. -Proverbs 9:8] [16 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, 17 so that the servant of God[a] may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.-2 Timothy 3] Yung mga tunay na nagmamahal sa atin ay mga pumupuna sa mali natin... 4. Refusing discipline and correction [Whoever loves discipline loves knowledge, but whoever hates correction is stupid.-Proverbs 12:1, Only a fool despises a parent’s[a] discipline; whoever learns from correction is wise. -Proverbs 15:5] 5. Does not volunteer but is only force to obey God -painful process before obeying God.. [Do not be like a senseless horse or mule that needs a bit and bridle to keep it under control.-Psalm 32:9] Serving the Lord is a sign of humility. [Remember what it says: “Today when you hear his voice, don’t harden your hearts as Israel did when they rebelled.”[a] -Hebrews 3:15] 6. Being pleased with evil conduct. - pinagyayabang ang maling ginagawa... binibida yung mali... [Doing wrong is fun for a fool, but living wisely brings pleasure to the sensible.-Proverbs 10:23] 7. [Hiding hatred makes you a liar; slandering others makes you a fool.-Proverbs 10:18] 8. [The wise are cautious[a] and avoid danger; fools plunge ahead with reckless confidence. -Proverbs 14:16] 9. [Even fools are thought wise when they keep silent; with their mouths shut, they seem intelligent. -Proverbs 17:28] More talk, more sins. 10. Declaring there is no God - pinakamataas na kahangalan.. highest form of foolishness... beware of atheist.. [Only fools say in their hearts, “There is no God.” They are corrupt, and their actions are evil; not one of them does good! -Psalm 14:1] Iwasan mo ang mga hangal.. Dahil malakas silang makahawa... Avoid foolish people! Hate foolishness!

Are you saying you love God?
If you really READ the Bible, you DO it, before you TALK about it…
[Therefore let us stop passing judgment on one another. Instead, make up your mind not to put any stumbling block or obstacle in the way of a brother or sister. - Romans 14:13
Be careful, however, that the exercise of your rights does not become a stumbling block to the weak. - 1 Corinthians 8:9]

The Word’s story of my life…
Date:     01 January 2014
Mark 11:22-25 (NIV)
22 “Have faith in God,” Jesus answered. 23 “Truly[a] I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them. 24 Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. 25 And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive them, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins.”
Expression
God will answer your prayers but not as a result of your positive mental attitude.
Other conditions must be met:
Faith in God.
You must NOT hold a grudge against another person.
You must NOT pray with SELFISH motives.
Your request must be FOR the good of God’s kingdom.
To pray effectively, you need faith in God, not faith in the object of your request. Our prayers are often motivated by our own interests and desires. We like to hear that we can have anything. But, Jesus prayed with God’s interests in mind (Mark 14:36). When we pray, we can express our desires, but we should want His will above ours.
Forgiving others is tough work – so much so that many people would rather do something totally distasteful than offer forgiveness to someone who has wronged them.  True faith changes the heart. Real prayer dismantles pride and vengeance, filling the holes with love. Real faith seeks peace.
For our churches to have prayer power there must be a harmony and forgiveness evident in the body of our lives. Let go of hurts, abandon grudges, and forgive others.
Reaction
What are you praying for? Did you check your heart before praying? Don’t focus only on your requests. Check yourself to see if your prayers focus on your interests or God’s.

Monster, Ins. - Jealousy (God owes me!) By Pastora Faythe Santiago Your problem isn't with the person who has something you don't. It's with your Creator.
He owes you.
And until you face up to this convicting truth, monster jealousy will continue to terrorize you. How do we kill monster jealousy? James 4: 1-3 "What causes fight and quarrels among you?”... "Don't they come from your desires that battle within you?”... "You desire but do not have..." "...so you kill. You covet but (still) you cannot get what you want..." "...so you quarrel and fight." "You do not have because you do not ask God." "When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, that you may spend what you get on your pleasures." Si God lang wala ng iba pa... 1 Peter 5:7(Cast all your anxiety on Him because He CARES for you) -lahat ng di mo makuha, i-iyak mo lang kay Lord.. Seryosohin mo... James 1:17(Every good gift bestowed, every perfect gift received comes to us from above, courtesy of the Father of lights. He is consistent. He won't change His mind or play tricks in the shadows.)
-God knows what's best for you.
Jealousy(God owes me? - this is a big lie!)
God does not owe you- you were redeemed by the precious blood of His Son, Jesus Christ. #MonsterJealousy #SatisfymysoulLordGodonlyYoucan #HMQC #HMYP

GREED (A hideous beast monster) By Ps. Faythe Santiago "What's mine is mine because I've earned it - and I've got a lot more coming." How can we identify greedy people? Greedy people: -talk about lot and worry about money -are not cheerful givers -reluctant to share -often create a culture of secrecy around them -won't let you forget what they have done for you -reluctant to express gratitude -control people with their money -always put money and earning first. It is their priority Ang mga taong sakim ay pinaa-andar ng takot. The more they receive, the more they want. Maybe, greed is good. - Gordon Gecko. But Jesus said, in Luke 12: 15-21 Jesus: “You’d better be on your guard against any type of greed, for a person’s life is not about having a lot of possessions.” 16 (then, beginning another parable) A wealthy man owned some land that produced a huge harvest. 17 He often thought to himself, “I have a problem here. I don’t have anywhere to store all my crops. What should I do? 18 I know! I’ll tear down my small barns and build even bigger ones, and then I’ll have plenty of storage space for my grain and all my other goods. 19 Then I’ll be able to say to myself, ‘I have it made! I can relax and take it easy for years! So I’ll just sit back, eat, drink, and have a good time!’” 20 Then God interrupted the man’s conversation with himself. “Excuse Me, Mr. Brilliant, but your time has come. Tonight you will die. Now who will enjoy everything you’ve earned and saved?” 21 This is how IT WILL BE for people who accumulate huge assets for themselves but HAVE NO assets in relation to God. Today, Why do I have so much? Why God does provide you with more than you need? …For me to save more for the future, of course, I’VE EARNED IT and I WANT MORE. ...For me not to worry and to have peace? ...For me to pay my demanding bills? ...For me to send money to my family and poor relatives? Kaya AKALA mo palaging kulang... Hangga't defensive ka at di ka makapagbigay, check your heart thoroughly, greed is a hideous beast, and greed is a sin. If you want to conquer greed, its remedy is GENEROSITY. KUNG GUSTO MO PATAYIN SA PUSO MO YAN GREED MONSTER NA YAN, PRACTICE GIVING. Anuman ang status mo, magbigay ka. #Killhideousbeastmonstergreed #GENEROSITY #HMQC #SundayService

Be Considerate.
In my dream just before I woke up this morning, I was in a foreign rice field. Seeing different scenes and type of rice plants ready and not ready for harvest, observing a bunch of potential seedlings left out in the mud, carefully picked by two friends older than I. After choosing the good seedlings we could take home and use. I was suddenly looking at a beautiful scene part, a friend sliding and hopping to high fences, enjoying and for him to see more, as I’ve tried to imitate him, on the top of the end of the fence I remember that I am afraid of heights, so instead of just enjoying what I see, I awfully hop down.
Then, a friend from church suddenly followed and interrupted me in a dry land part. Asking me about school project, me being her leader, if I added her name to the project we submitted to whom I remember as an annoying inconsiderate instructor I had from my college days. She came to me with apologetic and a sad face; I did not include her name for she did not cooperate on the project. I removed her out of votes with other members and my decision logically. And while looking at her sad face, hearing her explain that she was so busy on other important things so she forgot to help us out on the group project, I immediately defended my action and even blaming the inconsiderate instructor, and brought up an old issue to strengthen my justification instead of simply feeling sorry and uttering an apology for being inconsiderate.
As I woke up and asked the Holy Spirit what does this dream trying to tell me.
I don't have the desire to write every detail. So, let me just take the gist of the dream I just had, but you may ask me to explain every inch of it,
if we could find time to talk about it.  :)
It suddenly hits me. The representation of that person whom I do not agree with and do not like is actually me. I can see things and do things in extra-ordinary ways but me being inconsiderate could hinder me to be the person as God wants me to be. The rice-field and scenario represents the place and time. Not all is always ready for harvest. And some are for food to harvesters, some are seedlings for planters, some are needed to grow first and need a lot of waiting before to be taken. But, all are not for nothing. So, are the masterpieces and the Words of God.
This reminds me of the verses I’ve had from my past devotion:
Isaiah 55:8-11 (NIV)
8 “For my thoughts are not your thoughts,     neither are your ways my ways,” declares the Lord. 9 “As the heavens are higher than the earth,     so are my ways higher than your ways     and my thoughts than your thoughts. 10 As the rain and the snow     come down from heaven, and do not return to it     without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish,     so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater, 11 so is my word that goes out from my mouth:     It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire     and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.
Along the road of our lives, fears hinder us to enjoy the sceneries and seeing significant things. And self-centeredness obstructs us to be the excellent person as God wants us to be. It even makes us disappoint the people we love.
We should be thoughtful in everything we do, big or small. At times, we perceive we do things out of love or justify it for goodness of people we care about, but, in reality we do it selfishly, and we even think of them as the one being inconsiderate.
Lord God, forgive me. For I know, I am and can be inconsiderate, again. In all I do, make me do it considerately and according to Your willpower.
