I think Ladyklok as a concept fascinates me so much more than any genderbent content from other fandoms because, along with there being a canon tie-in or basis for it, the culture around Dethklok and the choices the members make are so entrenched in masculinity.

Ladyklok is a situation where, as opposed to just throwing boobs on a design, their presence as women is so inherently different in the space they would inhabit. If Dethklok did everything the exact same, but as women, it would be bizarre and weird in different ways. And if they didn't, it's interesting to imagine how different they would be.

Also, since it's an alternative subculture that already hosts nonconformity in gender presentation and fashion, it makes any design reimagines more fun!
