Listen, I understand being curious about celebrities' lives. If you see a celebrity doing a bunch of gay things you might think "hey, maybe that artist is queer" but that's as far as it should go. You should never harass, or threaten, or force anyone to come out. That is fucking disrespectful and wrong. Queerness is about including anyone who feels that they do not fit into normal society, there is no one way of being queer. It's not a box, it's free and open and that's the beauty of it, so how about we fucking stop forcing queer people to come out, or label themselves, it's none of your business.

I just. I loved this movie. Okay. It was just so beautiful. Gorgeous landscapes, costuming to cry for, agonizing and tense staging for the action scenes, amazing amazing amazing work with the fire effects; and don't get me started on that dragon.

The plot was simple and straightforward but perfectly carried by Millie's acting. That girl can scream like her leg is on fucking fire. Genuine characters that you care about. Appropriately bitchy villain!

And a minimum ---MINIMUM!!!!--- of Girl Bossing. So very little fucking girl bossing. Minimum whining and wrangling her hands about her arranged marriage because she is in fact a noble girl who cares about her people and is excited to marry into a beautiful rich kingdom. No not-like-other-girl-ing. No unnecessary focus on sword baddassery to the detriment of everything else. No most-specialest-heroine-in-the-whole-wide-world.

Just a clever, kind, brave girl, with a loving family, who got a bit lucky when needed.
