i can’t remember when it all started. maybe it was always like this. maybe it wasn’t. it’s hard to say now. i’ve forgotten most of the details, the ones that matter anyway. all i know is that one day i woke up and realized everything was slipping away from me. even the things that felt important. especially those things. it’s been like this for a while.
