experience. i've only ever rp'ed on tumblr, i got into it late, around 2014? it's not something i was doing since i was a kid or anything. the first time i learned about tumblr rp was from a g.lenn r.hee blog and they answered all my questions before i made my first blog, back when people were nicer.

fluff, angst, or smut. i like a good mix! i will say i lean a lot on angst, but i write fluff and smut too, just less ig.

long replies or short replies. i unfortunately ramble and most of my replies are at least 2+ paragraphs. i love a short back and forth reply, but none of them stay short tbh

pet peeves. blog policing, vague posting, and constant complaining about what other people are doing probs. the block button exists for a reason, we should use it more.

are you like your muse. my humor is very similar to finley's, and we're both chronically online, but other than that, he's grown way past me. the muse i write that i relate to the most would probably a.yda a.ugefort.

best time to write. i have the most muse late at night, which is unfortunate bc i have to sleep early for work.

reasons for there to be only one bed ˗ˏˋ ꒰ 🍊 ꒱

¹⁾ they’re undercover as a married couple, and as such need to act like one

²⁾ there’s technically two beds available, but it’s freezing cold and everybody knows body heat works best

³⁾ it’s a camping trip, and one character’s forgotten their sleeping bag

⁴⁾ a character goes to their friend’s house after an emotional upheaval in search of comfort, and ends up staying the night - but refuses to kick the homeowner out of their own bed, resulting in the two of them sharing it

⁵⁾ in a roommate scenario, one character’s bedroom has been rendered unusable - and with the couch being unsustainable in the long run, they proffer sharing the one remaining bed as a solution

⁶⁾ there are two beds, but only one blanket

⁷⁾ a character’s taken ill, and the other party worries too much to leave them alone for even a minute

⁸⁾ in a fit of anger after a mission gone wrong, both characters sleep in the only available bed because no one was chivalrous to offer to take the floor

⁹⁾ a character’s had a nightmare, and needs company to feel safe enough to go back to sleep

¹⁰⁾ the weather takes a tumultuous turn, meaning a late night hangout has to turn into a sleepover when a character gets stranded there for the night

¹¹⁾ it’s a late night at work and when they both grow too tired to continue on, the only option is the lone office couch

¹²⁾ a threat’s been made against one/all character(s) involved, and so under the guise of safety in numbers it’s deemed safest if they stay together - everywhere

¹³⁾ one character joins the other for a late-night conversation, and ends up getting comfortable in their bed next to them - evidently too comfortable, as the char in bed falls asleep on the visitor and effectively traps them there

¹⁴⁾ there’s no bed in the shoddy refuge they’ve found after things went sideways, so when it comes time to sleep the only real choice is to stay close together

this was going better than finley thought it would. part of him was concerned that phillip would just kill him on sight. that's what he would do if someone was following him around and looking for him. but it seemed the devil would be merciful today, if only because he wanted something in return for whatever it was finley was about to ask for. desperate times called for desperate measures, and no one was more desperate than finley stevens. the rear of black phillip's hooves causes fin to stumble back a foot, the man spreading his arms to keep his balance. he won't forget how powerful the being in front of him is ( he wouldn't dare to forget it ). 'i'm, um . . . i'm looking for my dad. have been, for decades,' the words feel dry in his mouth; the first time they've ever been uttered out loud. 'i can't . . . i can't do it anymore. all i need to know is if he's alive. you find him and let me talk to him, and you can have whatever you want after that,' finley is a fool, but this was his only option left. he was only a man. a tired man. after all these years, he needs to admit defeat. 'my tongue, my body, my soul, whatever. it's yours if you can take me to him,'

Said goat stared indefinitely into the void of hours between himself and Fin. For what felt like years, eons, epochs, eventually it tilted and shook its head; an acknowledgement of its names, titles, honorifics. All of them true, all of them him, and oh, his pride did cling to his body like liquid gold upon pitch black fur.

"Thou dost proclaim mine titles, mine names--"soothed the voice in the back of Fin's mind. 'Thou speaks thine truth; thine knowing."

Sudden rush moved with the darkness, overtaking the devil's form as he took a step back, bucking his head and rearing front hooves in a display of power.

"I am what thou calls me, so SPEAK, SPEAK! What doest thou want? What doest thou desire? Come, come, speak thine wishes upon mine ear and find thine wishes granted if thine gives thine tongue. What doest thou seek of me, to dig so deep into the confines of damnation itself?"
