What did I plan to do? What were my goals?
GYM: my plan was to overall just increase my fitness level by improving my stamina. Personally, I feel like improved a lot in terms of stamina, the 22KM run proved that.
Hiking (Bukit): improve my cardio, which i did to a certain extent, managed to run 9 hills.
Cooking: my plan was to learn new dishes to become more independent. Learned 7 new dishes which I have memorised.
D&D: relax and learn the fantasy world. I found it quite enjoyable
Flag Football/sports: learn how to play in a team with strategy. Achieved to an extent, improved standings in house sport.
Borneo Project: raise money for Camp Bongkud, raised most amount in BP and also got to learn how Bongkud people operate.
Warrior Fitness: learn how to do crossfit techniques properly, managed to an extent, still need work on the flexibility excercises
Eco Project/ODC: create and environement and project for younger years to learn about eco stuff. Achieved through most educational award.
What was the highlight?
GYM: moments where I pushed myself over the limit and got muscle pains the next day, yet I did not complain and embraced the challenge.
Hiking (Bukit): moments where I beat my record timings and when I realised I could run 7 and 9 hills. I felt a real sense of accomplishment and it was a huge confidence booster.
Cooking: moments where I got to learn exotic and rare dishes such as my tahai saba and roasted coconut because they are so unique in their own right and somewhere made me feel closer to my family as they tutored me.
D&D: character creation, where we just have fun and shared our ideas and imaginations.
Flag Football/sports: moments when we clucthed the game and the end where we huddled, I felt a true sense of brotherhood amongts my peers.
Borneo Project: the whole trip was a highlight especially when engaging with the locals as they gave good life advice about going through hardships.
Warrior Fitness: the moment when i realised i sucked at the flexibility excercises, it made me realise how much further i needed to go to push myself even after bukit and GYM.
Eco Project/ODC: working with my sister house, I never really worked with them before on an important project before this. Taught me how to be a good leader and organiser.
Should others do this activity? Why?
GYM: Yes if can afford, it is good to build up physical capability.
Hiking (Bukit): Yes, same reason as GYM, builds up capability and also confidence.
Cooking: Yes definitely, teaches how to be more independent, it is a skill that will prove to be useful in one point of your life or another.
D&D: Maybe, it is a highly subjective activity, some find it awesome and some find it boring. I personally enjoy it and would recomend it to specific people.
Flag Football/sports: Yes definitely, you learn how to operate and execute plans and strategies as a team, a skill that would prove to be useful in the future.
Borneo Project: Maybe, it takes up a lot of time and energy, must be really committed to it to fully get the most. I personally enjoy it and would recommend it to specific people.
Warrior Fitness: Maybe, only do it if you have good cardio, you get tired easily. I personally enjoy it and would recommend it to specific people.
Eco Project/ODC: Maybe, it is physical labour and takes up a lot of energy. I would it boring sometimes.
How did this activity benefit others?
Borneo Project: Helped the people at bongkud to buy new items for their community centre. Creates a sense of community and wellbeing within the area. Buildup of a stronger relationship in the community.
Eco Project/ODC: Creates an enviroment where little kids at school can learn in, it is also a place where children can play in after school.
How did I interact with others? What did I learn about myself and others?
Generally, I found out that I lacked confidence and it made me mostly an introvert, socialising with humans is scary. Doing CAS made me realise the idea of ‘potential’ and character building. By the end of it, I felt more natural talking and engaging to other people, I’m still a little bit introvert but nothing wrong with that. I learned that you can’t please everyone and that’s alright.
How do I see myself developing as a result of this activity?
Factoring my activities, curiculum, environment and recent events, I felt that I had a massive ideology change. I started caring more about resposibility, priorities, humbleness, patience, understanding and control of emotions. I thought heavily on what I want to do with my life in the future.
I want to develop these my understanding of these characteristics in the future.

Service - Lapathon 2018
Term 3 ran on 11/12/2018
I helped mentor the new Lapathon team this year. At first they were unconfident and as the term progressed they became more confident in their choices as I helped by giving them advice. They basically had to do the same thing as my team did for Lapathon 2017 with minor improvements to the event such as route change and mashalling.
I also ran this year achieving 22 KM and raised $190 to which I am proud of. My legs felt like match sticks the next day.

Activity - House Dodgeball
We hyped ourselves up by watching Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story and as a result we got 4th place as well. We practiced as usual but suffered the same problem in House Frisbee, we were impatient and therefore lsot posession of the ball.

Activity - House Frisbee
28/11/2018
We worked really well together to get 4th place in house frisbee. We practiced formations and strategy before the event. We could have improved in patience as we lost posession most of the time because of rushing.

Activity - American Flag Football
Every Tuesday
I do not have pictures for this activity due to technology being prohibited in the CCA. I developed my thrwoing skills and coordination skills with other teammates in this CCA. I am commited with this CCA as I also found it quite enjoyable. I would need to improve my catching over longer distances though so that we can expand our strategy and plastyle in the game which right now is too simple and basic.

Creativity- Dungeons and Dragons
Every Wednesday and Thursday
This is my D&D crew, it is a very nice CCA as it happens after school and you get to let loose with your imagination and creativity as the story can go in any direction because of its subjectivity. The Dungeon master tells a story and you get to alter it based on your decisions and role in the crew. You get to design your own character and race. This is just purely for fun.

Creativity - Cooking
7th session - 19/10/2018
Ingredients
1 coconut
fire source
This is my grandma’s favourite drink during hot days, roasted coconut, she taught me how to shave the coconut and roast it withing a specific time limit. It taste like a warm isotonic drink. Not bad 8/10. Only problem with preparing this drink is that it takes a long time to prepare and requires specific tools to shave the coconut.

Term 1 2018 CAS Reflections
Creativity - Cooking and Dungeons and Dragons
I have learned how to cook a wide variety of dishes so far.
Made something different this term, an experimental drink for preparation of hot days.
I became more efficient in cleaning dishes and minimising kitchen utensil use.
Overall, I slowed down in learning how to cook dishes because I feel confident in my arsenal of dishes already.
I took on a new creativity activity named Dungeons and Dragons, where I go exploring the fantasy world and its lore. The characters, envronment and story.
It’s still new to me and I got much to learn.
Activity - American Flag Football and House Sports.
I wanted to learn a new sport this year and chose aerican flag football because it seemed intersting from the sports playstyle.
I did well in American Flag Football, scoring a few touchdowns and catching from log distances. I struggled with some of the catches though due to estimating the distances.
My commitment was extremely well to the CCA as I was present for every session due to the fact that I enjoyed it.
I also committed myself to house sports more this year as Borneo Project has ended and my Thursday afternoons are now free.
We did well as a team but not to the point where we get 2nd and 1st place. The other houses were more well coordinated.
We need to practice more before the actual event in order to improve our coordiantion.
Service - Lapathon 2018
Because of Borneo Project sub-group did so well last year, Ms. Henning asked if I could help the new Borneo Project this year and mentor them.
I helped my laying out a plan to them to execute.
If they were stuck with something I helped gave advice but did not solve the solution as I wanted it to be a learning curve for the group.
They managed to organise the event well and even I participated running 22KM in 2hrs30mins.
I managed to raise 190$ from my sponsors.
I only managed to run that much in that amount of time due to my GYM and warrior fitness training.

Service - Eco Project
Every Monday
As the eco project comes to an end, I only do it once a week on Monday. We spent this term actually building the cave and it worked out well, we stayed on schedule. ONly problem was the construction of the cave, it was not as dark as we planned it to be so that the solar bulbs would shine more. Other than that we did well and our houses won the most educational eco project award.

Service - Borneo Project
Wednesday and Summer
Altogther from selling drinks and food we managed to raised $14000.
We went to Bongkud Camp in Sabah during the start ofthe summer holiday. Engaged in community work such as brick laying and groundwork. Some problems that occored was the fact that the area of work was dangerous, there were scorpions, millipedes and snakes. We had a briefing on safety to reduce risk. We had to plan activities such as dance and sports to do with the locals and children which went excellent as the locals quite enjoyed it with our accompany. Everyone did their role, work hard and play hard with positive energy.

Activity - Warrior Fitness
Every Tuesday
Warrior Fitness was very enjoyable because I did I with my friends and it always tire me out at the end of the day. I kept my commitment steady througout the term because I just enjoyed it. I could keep up with the excercises and timings but would slown down towards the end due to fatigue. Excercises that require strength such as the tyre flip was easy for me but excercises with that require high flexibility such as the yoga ball was hard for me. I would need to stretch more before and after excercises to improve my flexibility.
