‘There’s only one bed’ trope except instead it’s only one tent, where Pangkey goes camping with the Lifesteal gang. The group brings two tents: one big one that should fit everyone, and a tiny backup tent that barely fits one person, just in case. After stetting up, they realize not everyone fits in the big one after all, and two people will need to share the small one.
After some rock-paper-scissors, Pangi and Lukey get exiled to the one-person tent. They squeeze into the tent together, and as it gets colder outside they decide they’re already so close to each other that cuddling “for warmth” (and definitely no other reason) isn’t that big of a deal. They fall asleep immediately after.
(In the morning, Derap is tasked with waking them up. He walks over, zips open the flap to their tent, sees them wrapped up in each others arms, Pangi’s head resting on Lukey’s chest, and starts crying)

woke up again. happy 1:50am. i saw a post that bothered me a little bit earlier but i think im just being too pangi pilled about things. however i can see things and say ohhh! strange perspective on that
#idk what post ur referencing but you are right#lukey is consciously having his character be a shithead right now#for what i imagine are simple but poor reasons:#(1) a power play. bc despite how close his character is to pangis they still have a constant tug-o-war going on of 'who wears the pants'#which is just like. classic early-20s male ego shit and also just really entertaining for both of them#does anyone remember the pavlov obedience bit. they both had so much fun with trading power plays with that#but (2) i think lukey wants to incite a chase#like genuinely i think he wants pangi to get mad and hunt him down as an ultimate expression of Paying Attention to Lukey#neither of those reasons are morally good they're just selfish#which is a trait that makes his character so fun!!!#problem is of course you should not mess with a war vet's PTSD under any circumstances it is literally so messed up?#but i kinda predict cc pangi will not lean that much into the post-war stuff just because he hasnt really OPENLY bothered to so far#so i think he'll just be annoyed and maybe disappointed#if he even notices it LOL#which means lukey wont get the attention he wants and will act out some other way#middle child shit fr#(im a middle child)
