I’m always really interested to see the homes of designers and aritects, so this home by Xavier Huyberechts of GLH & Associates Architects didn’t disappoint.
Located in Johannesburg, South Africa, this residence possesses a sense of relaxed refinement with its open-plan, double-height ceilings (you all by now must know how much I adore them!) and living room that blurs the boundaries between indoors and outdoors. There is a soothing ambience created by the white colour scheme that is anchored by warm woods and brightened by the art-filled walls.

Located in The Netherlands is this conversion of a historical Dutch church to a modern loft by Leijh, Kappelhof, Seckel, van den Dobbelsteen (what a mouthful!).
The objective of the interior was to generate an efficient plan with limited resources by stripping away the elements to create a clean yet playful environment. The result is a bright home that has few rooms and retains spaciousness.
