Trust me, you and I are on the same boat and I'm honestly surprised we haven't crossed paths sooner – though to be fair, I've either been embarrassingly downing these cute holiday cocktails the hotel has been pumping out, or I've been skiing by myself so nobody can laugh when I pretty much eat shit every five minutes. You don't like the snow or are you just scared, Butler? But apart from said eating shit, I'm also one of the best ice skating teachers out there, believe it or not. Just give me a good day to show you the ropes, and we'll have you become a pro in no time.

I feel like since I've arrived here in the Rockies I've just been wandering around aimlessly looking for something to do or someone to hang out with. To be fair, it's my fault as I'm a little shy around new people or people I've never really hung out with before but have met in passing. I'm also a California boy at heart and this cold weather isn't for me, so I might have been hiding out in the hotel more than I've been doing anything else. But since it's a free day today, I'm trying to get a little adventurous and see what fun I can get into. Or see what trouble I can get into, the sky really feels like the limit here. And if anyone wants to join me in said fun or trouble, I'd love that. That's also me trying to get out of my shy bubble as well!

I blame it on the drinks, everytime — but in my defense, I’m a total lightweight and the grandma in me likes to curl up in bed and pass out after like, two glasses of wine. I’m totally down to be your karaoke partner in crime, but I think we’ve got to start off with the classics. Total Eclipse of the Heart comes to mind, just because I personally think we’d knock everyone out of the park with that one. But of course, I’m open to any suggestions you have!

I'm not usually huge on karaoke or singing in front of anyone ever, but I must say I might end up with that mic at some point. Something about this trip has just allowed me to let go and have some fun.. could be the drinks, who's to say? But what's everyone's go-to song for karaoke? I'm intrigued and I'm down for a duet if anyone wants to sing with someone horribly offkey, aka me. @hillsfmsstarters
