HE COULD HAVE BEEN  playing the new spider-man game right now .  but nope .  stuck at work for at least another four hours .  and absolutely nothing was happening .  which was typical as of late .  but a job was a job and anything that paid enough to keep him out of the baines family home was good enough for him .  chiming was heard— the bell over the door echoing through the otherwise quiet room .  it was enough to make him sit up in his chair ,  but not look up from his internet browsing on his phone  .          ❛  welcome to flo’s motel .  ❜

FULL NAME: Asher Solomon Baines AGE: Twenty PRONOUNS / GENDER: Cis Male / He&Him SPECIES: Human / Hunter HOUSING: Renting a small apartment in Halkirk. FAMILY: Asher comes from a large family. He is the second youngest of seven children. The best way to describe his relationship with the Baines is that he loves his family, but doesn’t always like them. He often feels the pressure to live up to his family’s hunter legacy and it weighs down on him.

Ash. He doesn’t particularly like this nickname, so family and close friends are typically the only ones who can get away with calling him by it.

Does your character have any distinguishing features such as tattoos, scars, piercings, etc?

He has a few scars. The most noticeable being the small one below the left corner of his mouth. He has a deeper scar along his right thigh and a few scratch marks on his right arm. On his left forearm, he has a deer skull tattoo in black ink.

What is your character like in relationships? Are they clingy? Faithful or unfaithful? Do they jump from one relationship to the other? Do they even have an interest in something romantic?

Home boy hasn’t had a serious relationship a day in his life. He’s a massive flirt and all his relationships have been short lived. They run hot for a moment before sizzling out and he’s off to the next one.

What kind of things does your character like? What do they dislike?

LIKES :  listening to music, hitting the gym, baseball, cooking, flirting, sci-fi movies & books DISLIKES :  his job, country music, clingy people, any sport that’s not baseball, people who talk too much, passive-aggressive behavior

How does your character treat their friends and family? How about strangers? Enemies?

He is far kinder to his family than anyone else. With his family he is honest, while others get a facade that he presents. He’ll tell others what he thinks they want to hear, flirt, lie, cheat— anything to benefit his hunting now matter who gets hurt in the process. With his enemies, well, fuck them. They get his full-on asshole mode.

Where does your character go when they are angry?

Primal Fitness. He likes to be left alone when he’s legitimately angry.  Great time to get in a workout and focus that anger.

What is your character’s biggest fear? Who have they told this to? Who would they never tell this to? Why?

Failure. Failing and disappointing his family is a very big fear for him. He’d put his own life on the line if it meant his dad would be proud of him in the end. This is only something he might admit to his siblings.

Does your character have a secret? If so, what is it?

He has more secrets than there are people in this town. #manipulativedoucheproblems

Has your character ever been in love? Have they ever had a broken heart?

Nope and nope. He doesn’t stick around long enough for that to happen.

Does your character have any flaws? What are they?

He’s a massive hypocrite for one thing. Someone acts like a manipulative douche to someone and he condemns them, he does it and acts like it is perfectly okay. He also cares far too much about what others think of him. He wants to be liked because it benefits him.

What is one strong memory that has stuck with your character from childhood? Why is it so powerful and lasting?

The first time he saw his dad kill a vampire. It’s not a particularly happy memory, in fact, Asher was quite young at the time and had a few nightmares about the whole ordeal. But he never saw his father or any of his family the same way after that.
