a day of voluntary work for God's love day in Brooklyn. I received this email the day after: Hello heidi! I just wanted to say thank you for all of your help at God's Love. It was so wonderful working with you. I hope you enjoyed your time here and look forward to seeing you back again. I know something like chopping vegetables or delivering some meals can seem like such a small thing at the time, but it really adds up to something special. This year alone, we've prepared and delivered over 1 million meals and it would not have happened without the help of dedicated volunteers such as yourself. If you'd like to return on your own to chop, pack or deliver meals, you can view and sign up for individual shifts on our website. You also can view and download pictures from your visit here. And be sure to tag yourself in your Facebook group photo! Please remember that your volunteering didn't end when you left our building. It's very important that you share with family and friends what you did to assist our mission to feed people with life-altering illnesses throughout the 5 boroughs and Hudson County, NJ. We can't help people if they don't know it's available.
