Whenever I remember the last chapter, my mind went: who are they?

Because those are characters I've loved but also strangers to me, the only similarities they have is the names.

They didn't have the stories, the struggles, the pains, the heartbreaks that every character in TR had.

They are just there, attending Takemichi and Hina's wedding.

They are just as good as the other guests in the event.

I do not know those characters, the way I thought I did.

Even though I’m glad everyone is happy in the end, it definitely feels odd because it’s at the cost of altering so much history, so many relationships, events, and personalities (all of which we don’t get to see because we only got 1 timeleap chapter) …. It feels kind of like an empty victory

This scene is so funny to me

Like imagine you are friends or relatives on Hina’s side attending this wedding. You looked to the groom’s side and it looked like the groom befriended a boy band with hair colors range of a rainbow.

I just realized Haru probably never wanted to be in a gang in any timeline. He doesn’t like gangs because gangs are the reason Takeomi left him and Senju. Takeomi stopped looking after then and went down the wrong path coz of gang life. Ofcourse he wouldn’t want to end up same. He was such a good kid🥺🥺

Also, I think unlike Shin, Takeomi never glorified gang life to his siblings. Like Shin was promising his gang to little Mikey and Izana. I don’t think Takeomi ever did that with Haru and Senju. Sanzu only joined the gang for Mikey and Senju did so to bring back her brother.

⚠️ Thoughts on the recent leaks (Chapter 277)

i believe some people thought me "hyping" the latest leaks were actually liking it, but to be honest i had mixed feelings as well. at first i was overwhelmed by happiness cuz seeing my characters were alive made it hard for me to not feel that way, but of course that doesn't mean i don't want to speak about the outcome the latest chapter leaks have shown, like most of us have already guessed the final time leap will happen.

besides, i respected and agreed with people who came under my replies or reblogged my posts (as in) responding how it was utterly ridiculous. we can't deny that all of these characters development have been reduced/vanished completely by a single final time leap and the power of friendship in the end – as if they have never been important at all 🤷🏻‍♀️ it's like- you wanna tell me the dark impulses is gone and now everyone suddenly has no trauma? no sad backstory? i thought DI was only meant for mikey and shinichiro, so why does saving mikey alone lead to saving everyone as well? cuz not everyone is closely related to them so i wonder what this series actually wanted to tell us? haha.

i know majority of the fandom loves happy ending and yes ofc happy ending is not generic (only if the author executes it fantastically) but yall need to remember that this series has started so good in the beginning and the way it was built up to the point where a happy ending (where everyone is alive or getting their redemption arc) wasn't even supposed to be an option so how come everyone were resurrected and lived a happy life? just like that? and sadly we only got one chapter left so i don't know what to expect in the final chapter - whether it will actually be happy or another tragic event will happen? wish i don't give a fuck about it lmao but... let's get it, i guess 😇

chapter 277 spoilers/thoughts

takemichi and mikey fixing up the timeline so that everyone is in toman means that a lot of meaningful relationships which were forged as a result of takemichi’s previous timeleaps will lose out or be totally erased, like takemichi and chifuyu, naoto, senju, even opposing characters that came around like taiju and sanzu …. and that makes me very sad

you know what im happy with this chapter. i know i will be hearing this alot, that it was unfulfilling and that it left so many questions, or that it was very plot armorish. and yeah i agree, all that is true, but everything is in place and if im being honest it was NEEDED. so ill have this ending and just be grateful that all is good, cause i prefer plot holes than everyone dead😭😭

on a side note i really can't deal with the fact that it's ending.. im wayyy too attached with this story for my own good :(

see my only problem with the tokyo revengers time leap is that there are no rules. the basic thing about time-leaping is that you mustn't change the past and cause a chain reaction but that's all tr does!! in the newst chap 277 it shows us both mikey and takemitchi time-leaped and they were screaming about it and everyone was confused, even shin, so he mustn't know about the powers, because its before the event with mikey ever happened. but if shin never got the powers then he never gave them to takemitchi, so in turn he amd mikey can't be here. sumn ain't adding up...
