Everyone experiences gender differently.

"But how do you know you're not misunderstanding gender?"

"How do you know you're not misinterpreting gender?"

"How do you know you're not confusing personality with gender?"

How do you know *you're* not misunderstanding gender? How do you know *you're* not confused? How do you know you're right and I'm wrong? Do you want to switch brains/experiences to check? Why is the way most people understand gender the "correct" way? Why is there a "correct" way in the first place?

Everyone experiences gender differently. Everyone understands gender differently. Not. Everyone. Is. The. Same. So not everyone's gender is the same.

So why are nonbinary genders so criticised?

anyway ive seen too many bad posts today so queer folk w/ 'problematic' or 'contradictory' identities/labels i am kissing u lovingly on the forehead. i love you mspec gays and lesbians, i love you boygirls and girlboys and genderfuckers, i love you it/its and neopronouns and pronoun non-conformity. i love you non-transitioning and non-dysphoric trans folk. i love you xenogenders and neogenders and neurogenders and kingenders. i love you faggots and dykes and people who are both. i love you, queers without labels, and i love you, queers with a million labels, and i love you, queers who are still finding their labels, if any. i love you, i love you i love you i love you. we are all comrades in arms and i am baking you fresh warm bread.

given how alienating and dehumanizing the trans experience can be, is there really any question as to why so many of us identify as nonhuman? come on, now

If you want to call yourself "madpunk", "cripplepunk", "neuropunk", etc, your activism better not stop at the things you find "bad". People with no empathy. People with personality disorders. People who need their aids in daily life. People who have extreme fluctuating emotions. People with paraphilias. People with dissociative disorders. Psychotic people. People who have different modes of eating, excreting, having sex, etc. Homeless people. People who wear diapers. People who have violent urges/thoughts. People who you think are "dangerous". People who use drugs. People who need medication to survive and live. People with physical deformities. People who have delusions. People who struggle with feeding themselves, cleaning, working, etc.

If you think any of these factors make someone "abusive", you are ableist. Abusers are abusive. None of the above things make someone an abuser.

Madpunk and cripplepunk aren't just "adhd and autism punk". Or "mobility aid user punk". Keep that in mind.
