The woes of a Hungarian…./sigh/

Anyway, this wasn’t meant to blame anyone, it’s just a simple request from a person who is constantly bothered by the fact that while the names of other countries are used correctly most of the time, Hungary is still in the “Elizabeta” pit. It has been 10 years or so, can we start calling her on an actual Hungarian name people here in the country would recognize?

Erzsébet is not that hard to pronounce either.

“zs” stands for a sound similar to the “j” in the french word “je”.

According to a Hungarian anecdote, the following discussion happened when Hungary sent her ambassador with her proclamation of war to the USA during WW2:

USA: What is your form of governance?

Hungary: Kingdom.

USA: And who is your king?

Hungary: I don’t have a king, I have a governor.

USA: Who is the governor?

Hungary: Valiant Admiral Horthy Miklós.

USA: Do you have a sea?

Hungary: No, I don’t.

USA: I see…Do you have a territorial claim for the USA?

Hungary: No.

USA: Do you have a territorial claim for any country?

Hungary: Yes. Austria, Czechoslovakia, Romania….

USA: I see. They are your enemies I assume then?

Hungary: No, they are my allies.

USA: O_o  ………

Quick translations of comments from new characters!

Czech : Sumire Morohoshi I am very happy to be able to participate in this work, as role of “Czech” is very new to me and was excited and wondering how the character will develop.  There are some conversations which makes you giggle, and Czech’s simplemindedness and cuteness is very attractive, which made me want to enjoy doing the role.

Slovakia: Yusuke Kobayashi I am the voice actor for Slovakia. I am not good with history but by I enjoy learning history while recording voices of country’s history lol. Swahili Gang! always disappointed by how little content Uganda and Kenya got in the fandom, so I’ve been wanting to do a small series on east africa for quite some time!
