Making it to the finals with a successful business model canvas first pitching is an overwhelming feeling. Having this kind of product with an all-girls group is not that easy, but we still managed to make it to the finals.
We do brainstorming on what we are going to need to change and improve on our business model canvas since one of our major problems is the financial aspect. It is not easy to come up with this idea with a small budget. But we managed to still have a student-friendly budget since our target consumers were students, specifically at Central Mindanao University.
In our next survey, we are still using Google Forms to gather information and data and to connect with our desired consumers to ask for feedback on our product. We have over 100 respondents. And our group decides what questions we need to add to ask during the survey. The results of the following inquiries included:
1. Have you seen any defence tools or alarm devices sold on the market?
2. Do your friends or classmates feel safe and secure outside and inside the campus, especially at night?
3. Have you seen an app or a device that helps locate your place in case of an emergency?
4. Would you prefer a one-time purchase or a subscription-based model with ongoing service fees?
5. Do you think ₱1,500.00 is too expensive for a device that can assist authorities in locating you anytime you need help?
These are some questions we asked in our survey. And to sum up everything, most of our respondents agreed to pay ₱ 1,500 for our product in exchange for their safety. It is nice to know that there are really people willing to buy our product, and we are looking forward to hoping that we can make it to the final pitch.

To be honest, I find it incredibly hard to brainstorm and have discussions with other members of my group because we don't know what kind of product would actually make a big difference in the community. Because there are so many products and services on the market right now, we feel as though the thing we had in mind already exists.
Each member of our eight-person group is tasked with conducting an interview with eight different people in order to gather information about what people are looking for in terms of change and the difficulties they encounter on a daily basis when trying to come up with ideas for new projects. We were able to interview with 64 distinct individuals in all. Because Messenger is the most convenient choice for both me and the interviewee, I used it as my primary means of communication during doing the interview.
We conduct interviews despite the fact that we are at a loss for ideas and have not yet developed a product to market. Interviews were done with students at Central Mindanao University that I knew from my high school senior year. This is so that I may learn more about the difficulties they encounter and assess whether or not their problems are the same or different in their distinct fields.
Our group decides what questions to ask during the interview because we have no idea what kind of business to launch or what product to create.
The results of the following inquiries included:
1. What problems do you encounter in your daily work?
2. As a consumer, what is the current demand for products in the marketplace?
3. What factors are most important to you when deciding to purchase from a new business?
4. What current problems exist in the field of agriculture, medicine, and education that needs to be solve?
5. Upon evaluating the problems encountered in the fields, do you have any product suggestions that can be launched in the marketplace?
We would like to know more about the experiences that our interviewee has on a regular basis. They are customers, and since we believed that customers select items according to the specific issues they face, we determined that our venture proposal's content would be determined by their response. We believed that customers choose products based on certain difficulties they face because they are customers. We also want to focus on the areas of agriculture, education, and medical, so we question them about the difficulties they have and follow up to see if they have any recommendations for how these problems could be solved.
The significant majority of respondents agreed that the majority of problems are located in the agriculture sector when we finished our interviews and collected all of the data. Their primary issue, which is the rising price of rice, is said to be caused by a combination of reasons, including the growing cost of producing crops and the price of fertilizer. Having high-efficiency organic fertilizers that can boost crop output while posing less of an environmental risk is the general answer they suggest we use to solve this issue.

Having our product accepted by the market is the most important step in establishing it. The main reason we create products is to fulfill a need, and the best method to discover the solutions we were looking for is to conduct interviews with members of our target market to receive suggestions on how to make our products even better.
A collaborative tool that teams may use to gain a deeper knowledge of what their consumers want was presented to us as a task: building an empathy map. It might stand in for a user group, like the customers' section. We started by replying to the first two questions on the map before coming up with further questions to enhance our product line by reflecting their issues. We received more than 50 responses from Central Mindanao University, according to the findings of our Google Form interview. It is clearly apparent that the majority of students do not feel secure when attending school in other locations. We have a start-up strategy for who will be our preferred clients as a result of the ongoing cases that have been filed in the last several months from a variety of victims, mostly students.
Our team was able to arrive at the idea that the costs would be high yet affordable for the students because it is difficult for them to catch up financially these days and we are still taking the students' financial situation into account. The MusuanPin, which is our product, has qualities that make it useful for students to utilize in hazardous situations.
In conclusion, their survey replies expressing their concerns serve as our starting point for identifying solutions in these kinds of circumstances. The device can easily track the user, making it simple for security to discover you and easy for rescue to find you.
