self-shippers recovering from self-harm whose relationship with their f/o is romantic and/or sensual: imagine your f/o kissing you all over the places where you have scars. what they see in your scars is a sign that you’ve healed, that you have closed wounds instead of fresh cuts. they don’t think of your scars as a reminder of how you’ve suffered in the past. they see them as a sign of how much better you’re doing now.
your f/o loves your body, and if you’re comfortable with them putting it like this, they love your scars, too. but if you’re not comfortable with them saying that, then they’ll tell you they just see your scars as a relic of your past, and the past is just that - the past.

~ Imagine your F/O talking about something they are passionate about. Their eyes light up and they talk all excited, they are just so happy to know that their love cares and wants to listen. ♡
