I did not know that it would need a review from Spark Hub when uploading a filter so it took a while to upload. However I was able to test it out on Instagram.
Controlling the animation and pinning the avatar when you press a button from the filter.
I was supposed to export my Avatar + outfit as a 3D object, it took a lot of time to do since I have many pattern pieces. I figured it would be easier to just upload a transparent png render as a sticker and animate it, just like what Ineke had suggested.
It took so long for me to import poses from mixamo to CLO3D, so I just decided to edit the pose myself (since I have more control over it as well). I don’t want the poses to be static, I also want to show a bit of movement (so the garment could be showcased a bit more as well) I looked up a mixture of both for reference/ inspiration.
I got these off of pixabay which has free stocks of background that I could use for rendering. I couldn’t find any lighting/background that would fit my collection from HDR Haven, so I decided to edit the lighting by myself and also just find the scene from a different site.
sentient = the ability to perceive/ feel things (self awareness/ consciousness)
Concept inspired by the singularity
a hypothetical point in time at which technological growth becomes uncontrollable and irreversible, resulting in unforeseeable changes to human civilization.
I chose a low poly count hair to enhance the “syntheticness” of my robot avatar. I think if I went with a more realistic looking hair, it just feels like a human in costume in my opinion (considering the skin texture I have put). I also like how it is a bit cartoonish looking. I experimented with the texture in CLO as well to compare which would look best.
I redid the texture files I used in the previous example of how I want my avatar to look like, and made it a bit more detailed (more to look like an actual robot)
As I was trying to import my avatar as .obj in Spark I noticed that it didn’t show all of my textures.
