So I’ve been thinking about this for a while: a lot of ppl have written fics and theorized about Lloyd basically pulling a Demeter and causing the world and all the crops to die bc he’s the elemental master of life but what if he learned to control it in a more contained fashion? Like instead of causing the world or land to die, he could single out one living thing? He could just walk up to one of the Forbidden Five and just deny them life and kill them?

TOE plays the same way mostly, but Kai gets a head start to Ninjago. The EMs use the remaining boats but it’s kinda hard to stop Kai in Ninjago when he has all the powers in his grasp.

Wu is struggling on his own. As well as Misako and Kai is about to rein hell on earth towards them. He’s just, really really angry at the moment because he doesn’t know how to comprehend the fact that he was raised for evil, but the guy who raised him doesn’t want to be evil anymore same with the kid he took care of and oh? That girl is his sister too? Oh my god I’m supposed to be a Ninja? So…

I stopped thinking about the damn timeline because of my Ninjago Shuffle AU.

Lloyd’s birth is a plot hole in itself that it created a damn plot hole in that AU.

As for Emperor Garmadon, If that happens, Kai won’t join Harumi, he hates her and as much as he reminisces Garmadon being evil again, he’s so close with Lloyd he pretty much replaces Nya in the Hunted season. (So he doesn’t join Garm solely because he nearly kills his own son)

For the low empathy route I suppose he could learn to care for Kai again, but Kai’s trust has already reached so low when Garm nearly kills Lloyd so he’s not easy around Garm.

Morro manipulating Kai like that is crazy…but it seems like it gains Kai’s trust a little.

No Kai thinks they both didn’t know. So they’re both equally mad at both Garmadon and Wu for that one.

Garmadon assumed Wu would explain it to Nya though Garmadon doesn’t seem to know him well enough lmao.

If SOG goes out with Garmadon sort of losing empathy a little then he views Kai as a soldier, otherwise yes both Garmadons view Kai as a child he raised. (Unfortunately his love for Lloyd is stronger than his love for Kai for Emperor/SOG Garmadon. But that depends if I actually make him lose his empathy)

Kai finds his true potential…with Lloyd Ig? Since the Volcano thing does still happen. By the time Season 2 happens they assume Kai must’ve channeled something in Lloyd to protect him from the Volcano or Lloyd momentarily gave Kai fire out of adrenaline. (Which yes that’s what happened)

A.) They momentarily got mad at both Garmadon and Wu for keeping it from them but in Wu’s defense, he thought Kai was dead so most of the blame goes to Garmadon on that one. Besides it was hard explaining that to Nya without having to kick her out right off the bat. After Rebooted though she has a hard time trusting both of them.

B.) They are not happy. And neither is Garmadon. However since Garmadon has more free rein to explore certain areas he has more time to talk to Kai which is why Kai seems to be able to calm down in the end of TOE. (Father figure Garmadon go brr)

As for the Elemental Masters…they don’t give a damn that one of the Elemental Masters are not participating. Particularly, Kai plays it off as him being the ‘previous victor’ to soften the EMs into thinking that there were no risks coming to the island to participate in a Fight Ring. It’s also worth considering he doesn’t gain his Fire Powers until he gets the staff, once it breaks however, Lloyd gives him the Fire Powers since they truly belong to him.

For the Ray and Maya…yeah fair…but in his defense he was still evil and ended things poorly with his brother last time they interacted so…

Chen when he first reaches out thinks Kai is easy to control. Finally he has a pawn to use against Garmadon, and one who knows him all too well.

At The Start of the Tournament it’s still the same.

Post Betrayal he thinks he shouldn’t have tried to manipulate Kai. And has a huge grudge on him specifically.

As for Nya? No she doesn’t get an invitation. The events of Season 4 is mostly the same. However she discovers they’re related through conversations with Chen and Kai.

She actually gets caught early by Kai but he takes a blind eye to it, and early on in the season, Kai manages to sabotage the Cookie that Skylor gets with Cole’s message inside so that it surely REACHES the Ninja and no one else.

Kai is mostly actively starting a coup within Chen’s lair and causing his followers to turn on him, so most of the Kabuki and the Snake Cult end up following Kai after he gains the staff.
