I don't have any playlists… SO, I’m gonna go with Night Song in the Jungle! Not that it’s really a song.. but it is? I mean I can sing it. I associate it with sitting by an open window during an evening summer rain, mending my clothes or whatever else. Watering the plants in my room or drying tea.

Fictional villain I shouldn’t love but love regardless?? Hmmm okay well all of the outlanders. But you all knew that already. I think a better answer would be Lord Shen from KFP2. Idk if it’s his character design, the art direction, fighting style, or what the HELL IT IS, but that fuckass albino peacock absolutely captivates me.

And now something I'm learning. I've been committing passages of The Jungle Book to memory! And also I've been learning how to better take care of different types of plants. I've been working on consistency, commitment and discipline.

Those are actually scars on Bunga, from when he fell into the volcano. I don't know much about vitiligo, but I think it's usually more centered around the mouth and facial features?

AAAANYWAYS I JUST LIKE GIVING THEM SCARS. FROM THE WAR AGAINST SCAR. THAT HORRIBLE MONSTER LEAVING LITTLE BITS OF HIMSELF ON THEM IN THE FORM OF TRAUMA THEY CAN NEVER FORGET. wait what was I saying again-

I have posted a piece of him before!! Kion has always been super challenging for me, I'm not sure why. When I was first making my designs, I didn't even try.

Idk tho man, Kion is so adorable I don't really know how to convey it. It's easier when she's a lion, lol.

I mean. LOOK AT THAT FACE.

Anyways, I did a chibi drawing of him for this!!

It mostly focuses on his various scars… But yeah!! The design hasn't changed much, and I really like it as is.

I was looking through Bernard Derriman’s instagram account (he’s an artist on Bob’s Burgers,) and he had a post where he was showing little sketches he’s done in meetings throughout the years. And I got startled because, on the 9th slide, he had some INCREDIBLE sketches of Timon and Pumbaa. Like… HOLY MOLY immaculate. My jaw hit the floor. 🥲
