my cat hates taking his pills. the only way we can get him to eat them is to turn it into an elaborate pantomime - we take the packet out of the cupboard slowly and hold it up, saying “oh!! what’s this? what’s this? a TREAT? a TREAT for louis????” while making surprised faces. we offer him a pill… then, before he has a chance to sniff it, we wag our fingers at him and replace it in the packet so it becomes a Tantalising Forbidden Mystery. we continue doing this until he’s so confused and excited that he will eat the pill as fast as possible, just so he can find out what it is before we can take it away from him again. as soon as he’s eaten it he looks utterly disappointed and betrayed, like a child who just ate a delicious sweet only to find it was a chocolate-coated brussels sprout. it never gets old

5. Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?

Never, I usually don't know what to say, and it bugs me immensely how AO3 counts our answers on comments as comments on the story. I like statistics, and I like them clean.

6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

Potentially a new one I have yet to publish for the Law & Order: SVU fandom, where we deal with the death of Olivia Benson and her son..

7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

Not sure, many of my stories have happy endings, if not most of them.

8. Do you get hate on fic?

I got it once, then my friends saw it and massacred the commenter. When I saw it, there was only a body left.

9. Do you write smut?

YES. It's the one thing I love reading and writing the most.

10. Do you write crossovers?

Yes

11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?

Once. They tried to make one of my stories into a book and sell it on Amazon, I was mortified AND flattered.

12. Have you ever had a fic translated?

Yes. I think it was to Russian.

13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?

Yes, with @dirthavarens. Still one of the best pieces of smut of my life.

14. What’s your all-time favourite ship?

I have a trio that's really big on me, I call it The Unholy Trinity because the three ships are super similar to one another in their themes. The trio is composed of Clannibal (Clarice Starling and Hannibal Lecter), Dragatha (Agatha Van Helsing and Dracula), and Alutegra (Alucard and Integra Fairbrook Wingates Hellsing).

Currently, Alutegra has me on a leash; I've been mostly writing for them and simping about them.

15. What’s a WIP you want to finish but probably won’t?

The one that I was struggling with, I FINALLY found an answer for and will post it in the future as a one-shot.

I never post my stories until they're finished, so my readers are never left hanging.

16. What are your writing strengths?

I think dialogue and characterization.

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?

I'm game for it, leave the translation on the notes if the dialogue is important, if not I let my reader pick up the message by context.

19. First fandom you wrote for?

House.M.D

20. Favourite fic you’ve written?

Royal Affairs has to be my favorite of all because of how much effort I put into her, how I managed to write the amount of smut I wanted, AND develop a plot that touched sensitive subjects like homophobia and prostitution, and poverty. the worship and devotions of a count drained the life out of me, but it made my readers sweat, and I was very satisfied with the result of it after it was done. Good piece of smut that one.

Night Terrors is my first from the Laboratories series and allowed me to write a ship where I don't see love as a possibility, it's meant to be graphic and violent, and I love that I managed to write and post it.

Mireasă Promisă is my upcoming story which, like Night Terrors, will be a Dead Dove and have sensitive topics. This time not common rape, but statutory rape, pedophilia, ephebophilia and grooming. I'm delighted I wrote the smut I wanted and wasn't afraid to write it, and am prepared to post it. It's part of the Laboratories series, which means it comes to push my writing boundaries and remind me that it's all fiction, so no crimes matter here. And it might just be my new favorite baby of all.
