Ibtisam and her children are under fire by the IOF right now!

The IOF is pelting the area with gas grenades, and will likely begin shooting and/or shelling at any moment!

The family is trying to flee, but three family members are physically disabled. 15-y/o Nour has heart disease which limits her mobility, 18-y/o Mohammed’s leg is unusable due to a previous IOF attack, and Ibtisam is in extreme pain from a back injury.

They need transportation to flee, but it costs about $904 USD.

This is very very urgent! I don’t know what the IOF is planning but whatever it is, it is going to happen soon! Please share the family’s campaign and donate if you can!!!!

So I've been thinking about the old Pacific Rim 2 concept art where Lady Avenger faces off against a hostile construction mech.

Like. Construction equipment is Raleigh's passion, according to the old bio written by del Toro. So like. Was there ever a point where he was tempted to switch to construction in this universe? Also how does he feel about having to fight a piece of construction equipment? Like I can imagine a moment of indignation where he just feels personally betrayed or something, lol.

(Also, I am deliberately referring to it as a construction mech rather than a Jaeger, because Jaegers are built to kill kaiju, and the construction mech isn't.)

7-year-old girl needs to pay for treatment session

Little Joan has severe gastritis caused by IOF-induced malnutrition and stress. More information available here. Her next treatment session is this coming Tuesday, 6 May 2025.

Single mother with 2 injured children trapped under IOF fire in north Gaza—evacuation and treatment needed NOW!!

Maha and the children were not able to evacuate before the IOF surrounded their area. They are under fire NOW.

Little Khalil has been injured after the lOF rigged a nearby house to explode. Then while seeking shelter, the lOF fired gas canisters at them. They were unable to escape the gas, and now Joan is struggling to breathe!

They need funds for transportation, rent, and treatment for Joan’s breathing problems! In total, this means the amount they require is $2,300 USD. However, we are going to split this goal up. We will focus first an raising funds for transport and rent, totaling $1,700 USD

Originally from north Gaza, Doaa lived with her parents in a comfortable home. When the IOF invaded, they became trapped in their home for days, going hungry and thirsty for much of that time. When they finally escaped, Doaa’s father was killed and Doaa was injured.

Since that day, Doaa’s health has been extremely fragile. She tries to receive what treatment she can, but the lack of availability of care has exacerbated her injury and created a cascade of health problems.

Doaa is currently in surgery and she is in very poor condition. Although we are glad she was able to get this procedure, it is not going to be a cure-all. She will still have serious health problems, and the trauma of the surgery itself will leave her weak and vulnerable to infection and disease.

Doaa has only her mother with her. Her mother is terrified and exhausted, and has no source of income. Please help them afford basic necessities like water, food, and supplies for managing Doaa’s health going forward.
