hi.

i made jonathan crane, aka scarecrow. this took exactly 500 years. just kitten. i worked about a day and a half on this one. i am tired. this is probably the longest i ever spent on a drawing, except for the midsommar one!

How did Dogma, a relatively low-budget film, manage to have the only good-looking angel wings? Like, even movies with tons of FX dollars tend to fuck them up and they look bad. These are very stylized, and you can tell they’re not real feathers, but they actually look… better than real feathers? They have a balance of curvature and sharp angles that just make for a great silhouette and they move wonderfully. I cannot figure this out!!

I just realized how wacked out my blog is. I've made a mess of my enclosure.

I love writing, not because its fun, but because it's beautiful. I love writing pieces like this because i can take a piece of a character and make it taste like anything I want.
