guy: i want you to publish my book, you're the right publisher, there are so many scammers out there (says something racist) but ive seen your website and people recommend you so i just want to do it with you guys, what do i need to do

guy: i don't care about an nda, but i don't want you to read my book until you make an offer. i like to keep my cards close to my chest. why do you need to read my book?
people want to avoid publishing scammers. by only working with ppl who agree to publish books they haven't read and know nothing about
