Hyun smiled as he was called a good boy. He really enjoyed being called that. “I try to be, I like pleasing masters. “Few would believe it as I can be a rather harsh master at times, but I’m quite fond of snuggles myself,” Lucas murmured softly, his voice low.  His arms went around the boy, the fingers of one hand sliding under Hyun’s shirt to idly stroke the boy’s abs.  “There’s something about having a boy curled up against me that I simply enjoy.”

“I’ve never seen you as a harsh master sir, I’ve enjoyed my time spent with you,” Hyun said humming gently at the feeling of Lucas’s hands moving around his waist, one tracing along his stomach. “I could be quite content spending all day in bed snuggling, watching movies, having sex just to relax and cuddle once more after,” he said with a soft chuckle.

“Well, let’s test it out, shall we?” Lucas said, smiling at the boy.  “Come sit in my lap,” he directed.  “If we can manage to find a snuggle in a bakery suitable, I think we can manage a week over the holiday.”

Hyun moved easily to settle himself in Lucas’s lap, snuggling himself against the other's chest. “I don’t think I would ever turn down a snuggle. It’s one of my favorite things in the world,” he said with a small chuckle before popping a small piece of his cookie into his mouth.

Lucas could sympathize.  Oh not with the almost dead part, but with the spending the holiday alone.  He’d spent the previous holiday mostly alone, still upset over the loss of his boy.  He’d decided it was best not to have a repeat this year.  “It does, doesn’t it?  Much better than curling up alone.”

Chewing on his lower lip a bit Hyun sighed lightly again before looking at the handsome master. “Well if you don’t find anyone better, or that you would prefer to have for the holidays, I would be very happy to spend it with you Master.” he knew his cheeks were turning pink slightly under a blush so he brought his cup up to his lips to try and hide it.

“I highly doubt the cells will help improve my mood, I just wouldn’t want to ring you down sir. You should enjoy the holidays Master,” Hyun said giving the other a genuine smile. He very much liked Master Lucas, and enjoyed being with the other but with his moody bah-humbug feelings lately, he would feel terrible if that affected the other male.

“Not going to recommend yourself to save the pretty baker boy?” Lucas asked with a raised eyebrow.  He gave an exaggerated sigh.  “Am I think that you didn’t enjoy spending time in my home the last time around?  How very unfortunate.”

“Not at all Master, I very much enjoyed being with you. It’s just...” Hyun trailed off with a sigh before raising his gaze to the male, “I have a bad case of the holiday blues this year, I’m not sure I would be very good company.” If he had been feeling better he probably would have jumped at the opportunity to spend more time with Lucas.

Lucas considered Hyun for a moment before smiling and gesturing for the boy to join him.  “Hmm…he looks like he’d scream loudly, but perhaps I’d break him.  Looks like a delicate thing.  Do you have any other boys you’d suggest I take in for the break?  Someone who will entertain me?”

As his coffee was finished, he smiled and thanked the barista before taking the cup and bag of desserts and moved to join Lucas at his table. “You definitely need someone who won’t break,” Hyun said with a smirk, knowing from experience with the master. “I don’t know many other male slaves so I’m afraid I can’t give any suggestions Master Lucas.” Hyun looked down at his coffee cup, wrapping his hands around its warmth.

30 Day Challange - Character Development

3.) Name one scar your character has, and tell us where it came from. If they don’t have any, is there a reason?

Hyun has a six-inch long scar that runs down the center of his chest. Hyun has suffered from heart conditions for years now and a few years back his heart failed and had a heart transplant. At first, when it still fresh he was rather embarrassed by the scar but after a few years and it healing nicely he has realized he has no need to be embarrassed by it. The scar was from a surgery that saved his life. Without it, he wouldn’t be alive. Now it’s become a proud battle wound.

Lucas sipped his peppermint mocha and took a bite of a sugar cookie, sighing softly in appreciation.  “I’m considering renting a slave boy for the holiday break,” he mused.  He gestured to the boy behind the bakery counter chatting with another costumer.  “That one is pretty.  What do you think?  Would he scream in all the right ways for me?”

Hyun had just been at the bakery trying to get his much-needed coffee and a few of the sugar-free goodies Qhuinn kept on hand for him when he overheard Lucas. Glancing back at Tae and then back at the master he shrugged with a small smile, “He’s very pretty but I'm not sure about screaming.” Hyun bit a piece of his cookie and sighed as he waited for his coffee to be ready, he was still in a funk about the whole holiday season.

Daisy was relieved to see that Hyun didn’t seem upset or scared by Topaz. Who was currently making himself quite comfortable in the male’s lap, sniffing and wriggling around as he no doubt looked for something shiny to play with. “You don’t have a ring or watch or anything on, do you? If you do, then watch out. He’s slick” She laughed, dropping down next to her new friend and giving him a warm smile. “Oh! He’s a niffler. A magical creature! And you can pet him if you want. He really likes belly rubs” As if understanding her, Topaz instantly flopped onto his back, looking from her to Hyun expectantly. Laughing, she patted his chubby little belly. “How are you? You looked..a little sad there”

Hyun was amused by the small creature, chuckling as it sniffed and clambered around on his lap, sticking its nose against his pockets and into his shirt sleeves. “Uh no I don’t like to wear watches and I don’t wear rings anymore,” he said chuckling before his brows drew together in confusion at what the animal was. “A niffler? I don’t think I’ve ever heard of that before, then again I don’t really know anything about magical creatures. He’s cute though,” he said as Topaz flipped onto his back. Hyun moved his hand to begin rubbing and gently scratching his little tummy before turning his attention back to its owner. “Yeah, I’m feeling the holiday blues it seems. I miss my family. Sad I’m not going to be spending the holidays with them.”

2.) What are your characters most prominent physical feature

Hyun doesn’t really think he has a lot of prominent physical features other than the long scar that runs down the center of his chest. If he had to say anything it would probably be his eyes and cheekbones. He has a strong bone structure he thinks.

1.) Describe your character’s relationship with their mother or their father, or both. Was it good? Bad? Were they spoiled rotten, ignored? Do they still get along now, or no?

Hyun and his parents have an amazing relationship. He has a fantastic relationship with all of his family, his sisters and grandparents as well. He was oftentimes babied by his parents because of his health conditions but they always supported him with anything he wanted to do with his life. They fully supported him when he started dating Yeongjae and never got upset about it. When his health took a turn for the worse they were both there with him every day, all throughout his surgery and recovery to take care of him. Being their only son some people would think he got treated better than his sisters but they loved all five of their children equally and always spend time with all of them. He hopes he can find a love like his parents and be the same way to his children as they are to him and his sisters.

Humming to herself Ophelia skipped along the path, hands clasped behind her back. Though she knew it was just about the time of year where most students were overrun with school stress, she herself was as chipper as ever. She enjoyed it, the test taking, in the same odd way she wholeheartedly enjoyed everything. So when she spotted a nearby stranger looking a little glum, she took it upon herself to go see if he was doing alright. “Hiya!” She chirped, stooping over so her face was right in front of his. “Are you alright?”

Hyun was startled out of his melancholy silence by the sound of a far to chipper voice. Cracking his eyes open he peered up at the female, pulling his head back when he was slightly startled by her closeness only to smack the back of his head into the tree it had previously been resting on. He cursed lightly in korean and moved a hand to rub at the spot before giving her a weak smile. “I’m alright thank you, just feeling a bit of the holiday humbugs it seems,” he said shrugging his shoulders.

Hyun let out a chuckle once more as he pulled out a seat opposite his ex. “Yeah been trying to keep up my grades, been working a lot lately as well. I uh.... I had kind of hoped you would have come to find me a few times but I guess you must have found other things to occupy your time here,”

“C’mon rascal. I know I’ve been real bad about taking you out lately but I’m trying to make up for it! So can you please try to not get me into trouble today?” Daisy begged, hurrying after Topaz. She had taken her beloved niffler from Lily that afternoon, needing a little snuggle time. As it got closer to the holidays, she found herself growing more and more down. At this time last year, she and Scott had been planning a trip to spend Christmas with her family. And now, she had no Scott, and no hopes of seeing her family. Something that she tried not to think about too much, but she couldn’t really help it. Keeping up her sunny disposition wasn’t always easy, but having a chubby, wriggling niffler tugging her along helped a lot. As they crossed the quad, she saw Hyun up ahead, looking as well like he could use some cheering up. Apparently Topaz agreed, as he finally broke free and ran full tilt towards the man, throwing himself in his lap. “Sorry!” Daisy giggled softly, as she followed. “He’s been a pest today”

When he had let his head rest back against the tree the last thing he had expected to happen was for an animal to run into his lap. Tilting his head up, Hyun looked down to his lip to find a small platypus looking creature in his lap and his co-worker Daisy’s voice reaching his ears. Glancing in the direction she was coming from he smiled at her as the small creature moved around in his lap. “It’s okay. Um... What exactly is it though Daisy?” he asked with a small chuckle as he put his hand out towards the small animal wondering if he could pet it.
