The forest pixie looked up at the stranger, slightly confused by his question.

❝Of course it is. Why? Am I not allowed to have green hair?❞

Humans were so strange, worrying about the littlest things: Like hair. He’s seen enough people with green hair. He’s seen people with lots of colored hair. What was so strange about his?

                                  Hugh looked rather irritated by the other’s question. He was just wondering. Besides that, it was incredibly rare to have that shade of green for natural hair. But in the end it was just a stupid question.

Kay, since I see people doing those forever starter calls, I’m JUST gonna say something right now. no THIS IS NOT A FOREVER STARTER CALL. This post is here to tell EVERYBODY who is reading this that I give you my FULL PERMISSION TO DO THE FOLLOWING:

                                “Your accent, never heard it before. Then again you might be from here and grew up with said accent, but still doesn’t like someone who was raised in these areas.”

She wouldn’t admit it was strange and had slight trouble understanding him, it would have been rude. Matilda soon realized how strange it must have been, for a random person to suddenly ask about some personal things.

“Ah, I’m so sorry. I sound kinda mean, don’t I?”

                He had scrunched up his nose only slightly. Was his accent that noticeable? But then again, maybe she would have acute hearing to provide for her lack of... sight. He did read somewhere that the other senses became enhanced if one was gone. Either way he gave a response to the other.

             “ No , you’re right . I’m not from around                   here. Guess you have good hearing.  ” 

     Hugh looked away from the other and stared straight at the ground. Kicking a loose pebble away, he looked back at her upon her second comment. 

             “ Naw , that’s not mean . ”

He should have expected this. The quick wriggling made Kyo pull back. He didn’t want his friend to be that uncomfortable. He had just been so excited, he had been lucky to hold himself back from the near assult he had wanted to give the other as a return for not contacting these long years. Tipping his head to the side, a small burble of laughter escaped him easily.

                 “Nah, don’t worry about that! What matters now is                    you’re here now, and talking to me! I was a little                    afraid … “ 

Shaking his head quickly, he pressed his hands behind his back. “Oh, it doesn’t matter what I thought, How’ve you been? What’ve you been up to, Hugh? I’ve been dying to hear from you!”

                His friend was afraid? Afraid of what exactly? That Hugh just up and gone -- leave him without saying anything? Hugh may have been terrible when it came to getting inn touch with people, but he wasn’t really the type of person to text 24/7 -- actually, Hugh rarely even checked if he got any. 

             “ Oh , stop your whining and cryin , its                    not like I’d leave ya alone . I would                        come . . every once in a while . .  ” 

     He wasn’t that bad. Was he? At least he didn’t think so.  

             “  I’ve been alright . Taking care of my                  little sister since mom isn’t capable                  of doing that . I got a big surprise for                           her when she gets a little older                       cause I’ve been gettin something                  ready for her , but I’ve been hanging                            around Castelia lately . You ?  ”

   Ann really didn’t mind whether she was sitting pr standing when it came to travelling in the train since the seats were for the elderly people. Confusion written all over her face at the sudden question that was probably directed towards her direction.

                 “Y-Yes I can stand!”

                                   There was a smirk from him. He liked it just a little when people agreed with him. It was only too bad that it just inflated the ego he didn’t have. Maybe he would learn to be nice, but today just wasn’t that day. 

                                   “ Great ! Glad you agree ~ ♪ ”

His smile widened, a grin curling as he moved closer. How could he say no after that? Especially when he had been so excited in the beginning to at least try. He knew the other wasn’t comfortable with a lot of contact, so, instead of one of the more usual tackles he was known for, Kyohei moved forward. His arms wrapped around from the side, squeezing.

                            “It’s been too long, Hugh … Thank you                              so much.”

                Hugh had prepared for the worse from the other. He had even flinched when his friend came forward. He almost loosened a whimper from his tongue but stopped it short. There was no way he would let the other hear him. And before Kyo had any intention of getting comfortable, Hugh tried to wriggle away. Even though he was his best friend, he still got shivers up his spine from the contact.

             “ Yeah . . too long . Sorry about that bro . ”

          ‘ well excuse me            mr. independent, trying to be nice            to a stranger – which isn’t easy in all honesty. ‘            not in the sense she isn’t a nice person,           because she is, it’s just the talking part           that gets to her.            ‘ so – let me get this straight.. you, probably a           tourist, is looking around like you’re lost or confused,           and when someone just asks if you need help you           get defensive and downright mean when a simple            ‘no’ could’ve sufficed. ‘

          this odd burst of confidence will most likely be           short lived and regretted soon after, but victoria           simply can’t stop herself – there’s a lot of pent           up anger and annoyance in the small girl.

                Oh now she was trying to be snappy with him? It only took         her long enough. Only that, she was just now complaining that         he was being mean with her. Well excuse him for not wanting help.

                     “ Hey , I may not be from Kalos , but I am                         no way in hell a tourist . I wanted a new                                 area to do some parkour and hang                                      around that isnt a fucking crime                         nowadays is it ?? Also , even if I was a                                  tourist , if you and everybody else                         around here did the same thing that just                                      had just done now , wouldnt you                                          think its annoying ??  ” 

             At least now he had finally said something. Honestly, why         couldn’t anybody just leave him alone. He hadn’t done anything          wrong. At least nothing wrong before the other girl showed up.

As soon as he had seen his friend, he’d been exstatic. It had taken all of his willpower to not tackle him to the ground from whist he stood. His hands clenched at his side, cheeks flushed, eyes wide, a grin being bitten from his lips. Energy near vibrated from Kyohei as the other finally noticed him.

                        “Huuuuugh!” His voice whined, bouncing a tad                          on the balls of his feet. “Come ooon, it’s been                          forever! Just one hug? You can’t spell hugh,                          without it!”

                A silent pause was taken into consider the other’s plea. Hugh could even see that the other was just itching for one. And what was that he said? Well clearly that was true, but it wasn’t like he wanted to spell his name that way. But after a long sigh, he finally just decided to let the other.

             “ Fine . . but only a quick little hug . ”
