Have any of you all ever felt fear?...... I don't mean some shallow fear like the fear of the dark, I mean the type of fear that feels like your very soul is in danger, that makes you stop moving, that (somehow) makes your heart beat slower, your body get colder and a sense of dread wash over you, a fear which its reason is unknown and yet so intense that you refuse to search for its origin.... until.... a few minutes after.... you are called by a friend or by your family..... and suddenly you feel safe, that whatever caused that fear went away.

Please answer honestly, I have no clue what just happened and am curious if anyone else ever felt that way.

I just had a thought

What if..... all religions are right? Like, at the same time. I have no proof that could indicate to that being truth, but I noticed that some saints from christianism can be side to be near perfect parallels to some gods of other cultures, one of such is Joan D'Arc and Athena (I had more examples ready and actual arguments, but I forgot them)

I also noticed some coincidences in cultures that (probably) never met, like Tupã, the supreme and most powerful god in the Tupi-Guarani pantheon (indiginous mythology from South America), and Zeus both being the most powerful gods of their respective pantheons and both being the gods of thunder/lightning (I always forget the difference between thunder and lightning, so I put them together), also from the Tupi-Guarani mythology, there is Pindovy, a literal tree that holds the world together and connects it to other planes, just like Yggdrasil from the norse mythology.

This could all be coincidence of course, but who knows, I didnt actually search anything before writing this, just made this whole post from the top of my head.

Also, no clue how the afterlife (if there is any) would work, the gods can sort that out themselves.

Humans are space orcs, everyone already heard that one and many did their own thing over this concept, but, I seem to be noticing a severe lack on more intangible concepts, such as fear, I mean, fear of the dark (nyctophobia) is common and many aliens that are not nocturnal may have it as a way to avoid predators or the like, but what about something like agoraphobia (fear of entering open or crowded spaces)? I mean the whole human thing is "pack bonding" so such fear may seem to the aliens are something really strange, same for scopophobia (fear of being looked at or watched), the alien's mind would be something like this: "Wouldn't a social species feel safer when there is others watching over them? So why fear exactly the thing that makes you feel safer?"

That is only talking about fear tho, what about multiple personalities? (As far as I know, no other animal besides humans have that, so aliens may not have previous knowledge of this) How would they react about it? Depression and anxiety are also things that may prove tricky for them to understand....... anyways, that is it, those are all my ideas (for now)

So.... I just had a thought, about humans in the whole "we are space orcs" thing, it seems to always be clear that we are stronger phisically than the other sapient species, but, how come nobody said anything about martial arts yet? Would the aliens have their own? Or is it another thing that only humans created? I think someone could explore this and make something pretty interesting...... not me tho, I am no writer (btw sorry if I have made some grammar mistakes on this post, english is not my native language)
