Seeing a lot of people going "I hope Hunter interacts with x character" "I hope Hunter becomes friends with y character" while I'm here hoping he has at least ONE positive interaction in the entire episode because honestly I'm doubting if we're gonna get one lol. Like literally anyone, it could be with Boscha or the kids from the other school, just give this loser friends oh god.

I was just relistening to the Hunter recording. Because I was distracted during the livestream.

And someone please get this boy some people that actually care for him. The fact he gets emotional over Flapjack splitting a berry is both adorable and concerning.

And now I’m worried if he starts seeing Belos real intentions. And Raine does get broken out this week. Leaving him without the one none abusive person in the castle gone that seems to care…

I screamed for 5 solid minutes when i heard the audio. Then i was searching like a starved kid who opened the frige every 2 hours for the animatic.

Okay, but with the knowledge that 1) Eberwolf hisses at Hunter usually 2) Darius usually ignores Hunter 3) Lilith hated Hunter 4) Kiki DEFINITELY hates Hunter 5) I think Raine would sometimes talk to Hunter, but they weren’t a coven head for very long, so.

My conclusion is: every single adult in the keep except for Belos just DESPISES Hunter with the possible exception of Raine. Which is impressive. It also explains why Hunter’s so attached to Belos, Raine was probably his first interaction with another adult that didn’t hate him. Like yikes. Someone get this boy a loving family.

Imagine that you’re Belos. You’ve had a long, tiring day trying to get you portal door to work. You’re about ready to crack open a palisman and kick your feet up. And then your tiny nephew shuffles up and asks you what a flapjack is. You have 12 different kinds of flashback before responding that it’s another word for a pancake. Your nephew nods, still looking confused, and scurries off. You never receive context for this interaction.
