The Small Problems saga has had a special place in my heart since 2010!

At that time, we didn’t have MTMTE, Bumblebee and One, or Earthspark. TF was pretty exclusively made for boys, and a lot of the fandom was about toy collecting. There wasn’t a lot for girls who just thought the characters were neat, and who wanted more stories about them. And my favorite character was Prowl, who (like a lot of the great classic characters) was pretty immediately sidelined and killed off by Hasbro to sell new toys.

So finding a story with a female protagonist, focus on characters, and Prowl in a lead role, blew my mind as a teenage fangirl of that time! And it had so much material to enjoy! Though the level of angst in the later stories nearly destroyed me XD Honestly higher quality in my opinion 90% of the canon writing (MTMTE and Bumblebee excluded, Bayverse very much included)

So yeah, totally not trash. <3 And thank you p3achpunch for your beautiful artistic interpretations of it.

I'M BACK, thank you for the long wait. This year has been very harsh on my heart. Two people very dear to me passed away this year which placed a strain on me mentally and physically. Completing the cover art for the first chapter of @sketchytychou wonderful fanfic "Small Problems" has been my goal for some time. I have completed the cover art of the second chapter as well and will post that shortly after.

This series has meant so much to me over the past year. It explores profound themes such as death, rebirth, family, and change. Life is challenging—it constantly shifts around us, whether in subtle ways or like a raging storm. How we move forward is up to us. It's never easy, but this series serves as a reminder that we don’t have to carry life's weight alone.

Thank you so much, TyChou, for sharing your incredible work with us. As a token of appreciation, I created something for you: the covers for the first two chapters of Small Problems.

I’ll admit, I struggled quite a bit with these covers. In fact, I completed the second chapter's cover before the first, mainly because I wrestle with perspective and architecture (the second chapter's cover is my all-time favorite, and I think it shows, lol).

I decided to create two versions of each cover. The top features the original high-quality artwork, while the bottom is an animated GIF version with moving chapter text. The GIF version has slightly compressed resolution and less saturated colors due to the animation, but I hope you enjoy both.

Feel free to use them in your fic if you’d like—I loved bringing these to life and sharing them with you!

An Earthspark ad popped up on my TV, it mentioned new episodes (nice), and new characters (exciting but I know not to get my hopes up), and then introduced... Prowl?

My oddly specific all-time fave??

SO many name drops and cameo appearances of characters who are fan-loved but under-represented

If the first 2 minutes of Bumblebee got you pumped, get ready for 2 hours of that

Even while staying PG for the kids in the audience (obviously the #1 intended audience), there's still a surprising amount of angst and eeriness and existential horror to be satisfying for the adults

I normally get bored by fight scenes in film, but the choreography was actually clever and fun to look at, I did not lose interest

Transformation is earned and well-applied to the choreography and plot

Pre-War Cybertron!

Definite subtle references woven in, but not to an obnoxious level

we were talking about ninja turtles on the way to school and my 11 yo brother just started cracking up so i asked him what was so funny and he said he thought it was hilarious that the rise brothers share a brain, i thought he meant braincell but then he reminded us of mind raph and how they all take turns asking him what to do. i had forgotten that it’s actually cannon they share a braincell and take turns with it
