It's so odd when you're young and experience a piece of media, then some time later you more or less fall out of interest with it.

Years pass, and you can't help but feel nostalgic about that thing. That feeling of nostalgia's strong enough to get you to try dipping your feet back into it.

And you just look at how it's [the media and/or fandom] evolved over the years. Sometimes, it's almost like the metaphorical house was left untouched, and other times, there is a new metaphorical house.
