Thanks to the whole crew at @theroadsbistro last night for the amazing meal! We bounced around the menu and landed on the following: 1. Chicken Teriyaki Potstickers 2. Drinks!: Mai Tai and a Last Word 3. Charcuterie 4. Buffalo Wings 5. Espresso Martini 6. 50/50 Burger (beef & sausage) 7. Sirloin Steak w/ Demi 8. Scallops & Crispy Thai Rice 9. Hemingway Daiquiri 10. Have you tried @hola_snacksvb snacks yet? The new food truck from @alohasnacksvb specializes in puffy tacos but @chefwykle mixes it up with other items to choose from. I tried two puffy tacos - Adobo Ground Beef and Veggie, Pollo Choriza Corn Dog, the Tostones Diablo. Everything was delicious with nice finishing touches. Follow them to see where they’re at but you can usually find them in the Aloha Snacks parking lot. I was invited to hang-out and enjoy some great food and company at @thedirtybuffalo04 - Chesapeake. I've always enjoyed their wings and it was nice to get to try some other items on the menu. I was invited to try out Turkish-owned @shawarmashackva in Chesapeake and I loved it! I had the lamb & beef pita, chicken shawarma bowl, falafel, and a few other items from the menu. You basically can build your own meal by choosing pita, wrap, or bowl and then adding what ever topping and sauces you prefer. Shelby and I spent an evening at the Olde Towne Public House to feast on some great pub food! I'll admit we don't get to Portsmouth often, but whenever we do it's always a great experience. This trip was no exception, we tried a good portion of the menu and enjoyed everything we had. Definitely going to head back, great selection and the prices are very reasonable. You can see we had everything from Oysters Rockefeller to Buffalo Wings!
