A sketch from yesterday, plus today’s sketches and notes to myself, all done while waiting for classes to start. I’m trying to figure out the head structure for how I imagine Nick’s Malachai form. I’m not exactly like McQueen’s probably typical target audience. When I see the minimal descriptions of what is supposed to be a terrifyingly powerful monster, I don’t imagine a humanoid with armor and wings. I imagine a monstrous, animal-like beast with wings and armor.
