You know what I hate? People hating on Gwen Stacy. 'Oh she was just so annoying', dude, she's a 16 year old girl who was almost arrested by her own father, was taken in by 2 adult figures she trusted and is trying not to let them down. Why would any 16 year old do any differently. Your favorite character is literally Miguel O'Hara, the guy who is giving the orders and literally bodyslamed a 15 years old like he committed the most awful crime by wanting to save his father.
It kinda reminds me of the hate people give female characters like Sakura from Naruto or Nancy wheeler from stranger things. They literally wouldn't get as much hate if they were men. It's sexism people! Women are allowed to have flaws as well.

“I’m like, ‘Okay, she’s a doll. She’s a plastic doll. She doesn’t have organs. If she doesn’t have organs, she doesn’t have reproductive organs. If she doesn’t have reproductive organs, would she even feel sexual desire?’ No, I don’t think she could,” Robbie said. “She is sexualized. But she should never be sexy. People can project sex onto her. Yes, she can wear a short skirt, but because it’s fun and pink. Not because she wanted you to see her butt.”
Margot Robbie said Ace Barbie Rights with her whole chest.

As iconic the blue and yellow text from Unsolved was I have to say that Mystery Files is so much better just for the fact that Ryan now looks more like a crazy conspiracy theoriest

Like I knowwww Shane & Ryan get plenty of credit but… sometimes I feel like they should get even MORE credit. Responsible for a good tenth of the memes circulated in the 2010s, became synonymous with unsolved mysteries & arguably made them popular again, started a whole wave of ghost hunting on Youtube, stole a bridge, filled the gap Mulder & Scully left us, provided Moments that any normie could quote even if you never had seen a moment of the show. Stopped ghost hunting for a year and mysteries for even longer and are now being welcomed back like they never left. Absolute icons the both of them.

You know what? I think Shane Madej deserves more credit for being literally the only man in the genre to actually walk the talk that he doesn’t believe in this shit. Other shows will be like “I am so SKEPTICAL I am a hardcore DEBUNKER” and then *two seconds later meme* “holy shit dude shadow people truly do control the government and Hillary Clinton hired the men in black to kill people, oh my god it’s all connected!” Ladies, if a man says he’s a skeptic, then he better be prepared to lie on a demon pentagram and laugh when a flashlight turns on and says it wants to kill him. Never settle for anything less.

No, it’s actually rather breathtaking that when making his little ghost show, Ryan Bergara decided to center it around two opposing viewpoints, purposefully seeking out someone who was going to disagree and challenge him, actually incorporating a skeptic instead of throwing a bone in their direction occasionally. Like, that is so rare in conspiracy and paranormal spaces: it’s nearly always an echo chamber of believers who get huffy when skeptics pipe up and disagree with them. It’s still nearly unheard of for ghost hunting shows to engage with non-believers. And here you have Ryan not only going bat to bat with his co-host but also engaging with fans, answering questions, considering different points of views, conceding when there’s alternate evidence or ghosts doesn’t seem like the most likely explanation. Shane gets a lot of credit for being a breathe of fresh air in the genre but I gotta give it to Mr. Bergara: there is nobody quite like him on the scene either.

really odd how ppl will advocate for sexual freedom and the ability to determine your own sexuality but then turn around and make fun of and/or insult ppl who don't have sex, ppl who don't have sex often, and ppl who don't have until sex later in life. you can't pick and choose whose sexuality is more valid. ik that sex and having a lot of sex is demonized to hell and back but the solution to that is not to demonize ppl who abstain from sex, ppl who don't have much sex, and ppl who stay virgins into adulthood for whatever reasons. ppl who don't have sex/a lot of sex or haven't had sex are already stigmatized as is. if you're gonna claim to be all-for sexual freedom but then look down on ppl who don't fit your criteria for how much a person should have sex then you're not truly for sexual freedom bc sexual freedom isn't just about letting ppl have as much sex as they want and how they want, it's also about letting ppl decide for themselves what their boundries are and if or when they want to have sex or not

Do you guys think that as time passes Robb’s story gets turned into a folk tale…a cautionary story for children…a story rooted in truth but the real details are lost. A boy king marches south looking for justice for his good father but gets betrayed by the people he trusted too much…he gets turned into a beast, half boy and half wolf, forgetting who he is and living among the forest. The riverlanders say that you can hear the wolf king howl when you’ve been lied to, and that he scavenges the woods, pouncing on liars and betrayers. And his mother, so mad with grief, stalks riverbanks at nights, her face torn to bloody ribbons, attacking similar victims, but preferring the ones with blonde hair. Little children hear scary tales of Lady Stoneheart and the Wolf King and are too frightened to ever tell a lie. Men sit in taverns, singing sad drinking songs about a mother and child draped in tragedy. Girls sit about with their needlework, sighing at the true love the Wolf King died for, his fair queen who he put above all others, even himself. Robb Stark is betrayed, and this is true. But time twists the truth. Truth fades into story fades into legend. And he is forgotten, nothing more than a symbol in an old tale.

The story of the Goatman in Denton Texas is a Greek Tragedy when you truly think about it. Staking everything on his reputation, creating a shrine to himself that only the bravest (Zak Bagans) dare enter and then cackling as they shriek like a little girl (Zak Bagans) & run away, building himself up to be modern myth, a monument to a horrific god all centered around one singular bridge. And then… it’s all destroyed in a single blink of an eye. Everything taken from him in one night. Surrounded by a laughing chorus with a front row seat to his downfall. He doesn’t even have his folklore anymore. He doesn’t even have his dignity.
