In a sea of selfish, self-driven friends, your blunt and outspoken friend is the most real friend you will ever have.
In today's society, everyone is either living to please others or living to please themselves. It's very rare to find a friend who sits perfectly in the middle.
The truth is, the blunt and outspoken people of this world are the most real people you will meet.
They have no shame in speaking their mind and if need be, calling you out on your bullsh*t. They do it in the name of self-realization because, without these people how would we ever be aware of our bullsh*t?, especially when other people are too afraid to speak up.
Their realness and blunt way of saying things can sometimes embarrass or even offend us with their truthfulness, and this sometimes makes us question our friendship with them but honestly, would you rather have a friend who speaks their mind about matters that concerns you behind your back, or would you rather have a friend who says it to your face?
I have two of the most outspoken best friends and every day I am thankful for their friendship.
Without them, I would never have realized half my bullsh*t and because of them, I am a better person. They have proven to be the most loyal and trustworthy friends I have ever had, l literally can’t imagine life without them.

Suggested Answers to Common Questions asked by relatives to law students
1. Kelan ka gagraduate?
The date is subject to a suspensive condition of passing all subjects when my means permit me to do so but do not worry, it is not subject to a vain hope, hence, valid, next question please.
2. Bakit ang taba mo na?
In Calalang v Williams, Social justice was defined as "neither communism, nor despotism, nor atomism, nor anarchy," but the humanization of laws and the equalization of social and economic forces by the State so that justice in its rational and objectively secular conception may at least be approximated. Social justice means the promotion of the welfare of all the people...Social justice, therefore, must be founded on the recognition of the necessity of interdependence among divers...consistent with the fundamental and paramount objective of the state of promoting the health, comfort, and quiet of all persons, and of bringing about "the greatest good to the greatest number." Narinig mo yun? Greatest good to the greatest number kaya malaki ung timbang ko kasi may greatest good ako.
3. Bakit wala ka pa bf/gf?
The law is a jealous mistress, and requires a long and constant courtship. It is not to be won by trifling favors, but by lavish homage.
4. Ano masasabi mo sa (insert high profile case mentioned in the news)?
Sub judice is a Latin term which refers to matters under or before a judge or court; or matters under judicial consideration. In essence, the sub judice rule restricts comments and disclosures pertaining to pending judicial proceedings. The restriction applies to litigants and witnesses, the public in general, and most especially to members of the Bar and the Bench.
5. So ipagtatanggol mo ako pag nakulong ako?
One who comes into equity must come with clean hands. Mag safeguard po muna kayo tito/tita.
6. Anong year ka na ba?
Hindi po ako taon. I am a natural born Filipino citizen po. Kayo po ba? Tao, bagay, hayop, o di-tiyak?
Ano maipapayo mo?
In Cayetano v Monsod, the Supreme Court defined practice of law as any activity, in or out of court, which requires the application of law, legal procedure, knowledge, training and experience. To engage in the practice of law is to perform acts which are usually performed by members of the legal profession. Generally, to practice law is to render any kind of service which requires the use of legal knowledge or skill. So bale po hinihingi niyo ako mag engage in unauthorized practice of law sa paghingi niyo ng legal advice, na di ko po magagawa. Sarreh.
9. Bakit ganon ang (insert law na di mo alam or alam mo pero di mo alam ang ratio for the law)
Ay tito/tita, bakit di niyo alam? Hala kayo nakalagay sa Civil Code ingorantia legis non excusat. Tsk tsk tsk.
10. Dilawan ka ba? Or ka DDS?
I am for the Filipino people.
Tandaan: pag malabo ang tanong, bigyan din ng malabong sagot para quits lang 😛
Alternatively, pag mahirap ang tanong, ibalik mo sa kanya ang tanong, why what is your understanding of the law? Why do you say so? You mean to tell me that you think the law provides (insert what tito/tita said)? What does the law provide? Pag recit mo sila. 😛
