Y seguro que una boda en Las Vegas entre su hija y un ruso era uno de los peores escenarios posibles. — ¡Eso te pasa por beber sin alguien que te cuide! - le reclama, infantil. — No te preocupes, no le diré a nadie. Aunque no aseguro lo mismo con Dimitri. Ya sabes, es comunicativo.

Infla los mofletes, en signo de reproche ante lo que ha escuchado, porque sabe que es verdad, pero esa noche, tampoco tuvo tanta opción — ¡Se supone que debiste estar conmigo! Pero ni idea de dónde te habías metido y bueno… sucedió. No me hagas sentir peor, por favor — se muerde el labio inferior, con vergüenza — ¿Comunicativo? Es un idiota, no sé cómo puedes ser su amigo.

Está consciente de que la duda ya está instalada en la mente de su padre y será difícil sacarla de ahí, pero no va a ceder, no esta vez — Ajám. ¿Por qué tendría que evitarte? — pregunta, lanzándole una mirada fugaz.

— Pero, ¿qué dices? Tú no eres todo lo que está mal en el mundo, que seas un tanto rebelde y problemática no te hace tan mala, sobre todo si lo contrastamos con toda la gente que nos rodea — dice, frunciendo un poco el entrecejo — ¡Claro que no! Estar contigo le da un poco de emoción a la vida, además, siempre he tenido paciencia con gente como tú, sólo mira a mi hermano.

— Esa no es una buena excusa — replica, riendo, aunque sabe que también tomará unos tragos. No sería correcto dejar a su madre tomarse todo — No creo que papá te crea, y si lo hace, voy a enojarme con él.

Entrecierra los ojos, observando el semblante tranquilo del ruso, intentando adivinar si ya sabía de aquello y sólo estaba preguntando para probarla de alguna forma extraña  — Te lo ha contado Dimitri, ¿no? De verdad, tu hermano no puede mantener la boca cerrada, qué vergüenza. Yo tratando de solucionar todo sin que papá se entere que me casé con el peor ruso del mundo y él va, contándolo como si nada — se queja, hablando más rápido de lo que deseaba producto de la irritación.

iamalexarothstein ha dicho: “Oh my god, I don’t care!”

“Espero que no sea verdad y no te hayas ofendido por semejante estupidez” Ahmar extrañamente no la odiaba, la rubia le agradaba a diferencia del muy imbécil de su padre y el resto de su familia. “Lo siento pero me preocupan mi hermano y tú. ¿Hay algo que no me enteré?” cuestionó una vez más, esta vez sin aludir a los aspectos privados de los dos.

Lo que siente no se puede catalogar como enojo, es un sentimiento mezclado entre la preocupación que había sentido y la ansiedad de no saber qué estaba pasando. Todo aquello la terminaba por irritar, ya que no sabía cómo lidiar con ese remolino de emociones  — ¿Por qué te has ido? ¿Pasó algo? Más te vale que no, si ha pasado algo y no me has contado, no voy a perdonarte en mucho tiempo.

Sí, probablemente hacer caso a los pésimos consejos de sus amigos sobre cómo encontentar a una mujer enojada, eso o, como ya presentía y sabía, Alexa no era para nada una mujer convencional. Aceptaría todo el enojo y el regaño con la cabeza gacha y un asentimiento, porque el enojo de Alexa era legítimo. — ¡Sí! ¡Yo sé! - se quejó, acongojado. — Lamento haberme ido a Rusia sin decirte, no debí hacerlo. Ya perdóname ¿Si?

Se arrepiente al momento de haber sido tan drástica, su tolerancia con respecto al tema de Dimitri ha ido disminuyendo excesivamente. Toma la mano del rubio y le sonríe, como disculpa  — Claro que me agrada tenerte de vuelta, estaba un poco preocupada — admite, aunque la sonrisa le dura poco al escuchar lo siguiente, soltando su mano para cruzarse de brazos — Pues mira, puedes darle un diccionario de regalo de bodas, para que así se aprenda el significado de secreto — gruñe — Créeme, no podríamos haberte invitado, ni nosotros fuimos consciente de lo que hacíamos.

Ante la petición ajena el rubio enseguida se calló. “Creí que te agradaría verme de vuelta” sonrió levemente, aunque casi sin ganas. “Solo quería saber si era cierto que tu y Dimitri se casaron. E informarte que considerando que no estuve en la boda me siento ofendido”

Le palmea el hombro, en señal de consuelo, aunque ella había pensado lo mismo. Se arregla un poco el cabello, sonriendo con dulzura hacia él  — Compartimos el sentimiento, pero estamos a tiempo de arreglarlo, ¿no?

— ¿Eres tonto?  — responde entre risas, cada vez se le hace más difícil fingir que no le hacen gracia las estupideces que suelta por la boca. Sacude la cabeza, tratando de ponerse seria  — No intentes cambiarme el tema, aún sigo enojada, no puedo creer que no hayas podido mantener la boca cerrada sobre ese asunto.
