Not much Nived could remember from their childhood, not even their own mother's face. Dear God, they're really grateful of it. They'd do anything rather than remembering any bit of their painful childhood

Why, you may ask?

My, my, who would want to remember such an agonizing memory?

However, they could, sometime, remember some of their forgotten memories. Each time it happens, it is not pleasant, it never was

For example, when someone pulled their hair (even when it supposed to be a joke), their forgotten memories flashes before their eyes and causes them to act defensive, anxious, even screaming things such as, "I'M SORRY", and, "I PROMISE I'LL BE A GOOD CHILD" while hyperventilating. This also happen when someone hits their head nor slaps them in the face

This caused them to get into many troubles in the orphanage. Nobody would bother to ask for their reasoning, let alone comforting them. Everyone just labels them as the "weird, screaming girl" ("could you stop calling me a girl?" —Nived, each time anyone calls them that)

Those gut-wrenching memories keep haunting them no matter what, even forgetting it could never keep them away from the throbbing pain. No, not even in dreams

Their mother's voice who shouts in agony, their little self's voice begging for help and forgiveness, the frightening sound of their memories would keep playing over and over again, nothing could stop it. Waking up from that nightmare fills them with dread

Thankfully, Nathaniel came into Nived's life and helps them to cope. He may couldn't get rid of their terrifying memories and save them like a prince in fairytale ... heck, even a prince riding a white horse could never do that. But atleast, he'll make sure to be there for his dear housemate each time they needs him

Nathaniel often teach them to take a deep breath. Sometime, he'd let them plays with his long, fluffy hair. It really comfort Nived and soothes their uneasiness. Which is why Nathaniel's presence means world to them

Their mental and physical health keeps getting better after moving into Nathaniel's house. A small cabin made with woods, surrounded by many species of trees (it's forest, afterall). Green quickly become Nived's comfort colour, by just seeing it made their day even better (not to mention Nathaniel's tip of hair has some green shade)

But ... how long will their new peaceful life with their angel in human flesh will last?

Nathaniel was the one and only gentleness in Nived's life. The thought of losing him made them trembled in terror

So, no matter the cost, Nived will defend Nathaniel and his happiness. Even if they have to defy fate itself, Nived would keep fighting for the sake of their light.
