Dear Gospel Artistes I want to appreciate your Ministry and the work you have done so far, The efforts to push the Gospel of Christ to the world.

FAME IS TOXIC An Artiste remains an artiste until he/she  starts selling  millions of albums, selling out concerts , gaining  followers on social media, having access to things he/she could not afford , See millions of comments and interactions on social media platforms So many of you forget God's calling and face the World's calling. Maybe your fame is only a few thousands of  Facebook or Instagram  followers and 100 thousand albums, you feel you have arrived Fame will swallow you up and soon you will realize it was vanity.

HOW FAME KILLS Well, let me quickly share history with you: John Lennon of the BEATLES once said this in 1966 “Christianity will go, it will vanish…..We’re more popular than Jesus Christ” He died young and last year when Kanye West introduced Paul McCartney who was the second in command of the BEATLES in his track, most youths asked who is Paul McCartney? Words of the famous usually hastens their deaths. Titanic ship sunk during its first voyage after those who built it said ”Even God could not sink it”.

So many famous musicians have passed on in this generation, due to depression and deviating from God's call , most of them died of drug abuse, due to emptiness caused by absence of God in their lives. All in all, fame may be nice but not an easy thing to live with. You have money but you do not feel safe, you have friends and fans but you can never be sure if they like you for who you are or for your money.
