A litany of dubious advice
Alternate title: what to do during an emergency situation Alternate alternate title: how to live a life you didn't plan for 1. Panic. Everything is fucked and there nothing you can do to fix it. It is far better for you to allow your brain and body it's natural instinct - panic - rather than try to find a solution to the problem. You can't 2. Stop panicking, not because you are ready to tackle the situation, it's already been established that you can't. Instead, fall into a state of apathy and indifference. As the emergency situation inevitably escalates into something worse, you don't have to worry about it because you've already given up. 3. Take a nap. Literally what else are you going to do. 4. Dream of a life that isn't. Love your body, and your friends - find enjoyment in your occupation and hobbies. Look forward to a future full of enriching experiences, and relish upon a past full of trial and success. 5. Wake up. Cry if you haven't forgotten how yet, - spend too much time juxtaposing dreams with reality. Shower, or dont. It doesn't really matter. 6. go to school, or work, or whatever it is that you typically do. Smile when appropriate. Kill any feeling welling up inside you for fear of it's eventual absence. Keep your distance for fear that this hollow inside you will find escape and infect others. 7. Pray for a car accident, or cancer. Anything is better than this. 8.

John (old writing, still hurts though)
I visit sometimes, when I'm home It's probably not enough. I don't go to the parades, or banquets. But I visit sometimes. When I'm home. I put on my best shit eating grin, I say, "still dead, huh?" Then I laugh. But it isn't funny. We trained for this together. Both with delusions of grandeur. You believed in something I never could. You wanted to help people. I was looking for a way out, of this life, this body. You found one. I'm still looking

I am Caged. In this flesh, this way of mind, this life. Mature, some would say. A coward, others. A state of non-existence A prison. No way out. A fix: not hard but impossible. You don't fix this. You don't wake up one day and you are better. You die. If you're lucky: you die young. It's what we do best. Young, beautiful, wrong

I dream of dying, still
To try and to fail is the hardest of all. "It'll get better" is a lie. "It's hard, not impossible" is a lie. For what crimes am I guilty? Why is this curse is mine to bear? This is why we aren't friends, God. Because of what you've done. You forsook me at birth, and you what, want me to kneel and beg for forgiveness? You did this, the crime is yours. I just have to live it.

tv show meme: [3/5] tv shows: buffy the vampire slayer Does it get easy? What do you want me to say? Lie to me.  Yes. It’s terribly simple. The good guys are always stalwart and true. The bad guys are easily distinguished by their pointy horns or black hats, and, uh, we always defeat them and save the day. No one ever dies and… everybody lives happily ever after. Liar.

the name challenge ▷ 2nd letter: a male character “Oh, listen to Mary Poppins. He’s got his crust all stiff and upper with that nancy-boy accent. You Englishmen are always so… Bloody hell! Sodding, blimey, shagging, knickers, bollocks, oh God! I’m English!”

Two years past
Don’t mind me - had a shit day so imma vomit some words I wrote(poorly) a long time ago onto the internet.
First page
A gift from a madman, or perhaps a hero. A flower, my only regret.  A stain upon mind and body, never again clean. I trust no one more than a mouse, our tongues forever tied.  An island, a future not yet determined, A week to spend. _______________________________________________________
On a rock overlooking the sea
Ghost ship, foggy sea We are trapped upon this voyage eternal With us swim the lost, once comrades, now souls to haunt the waking time There was no beginning to this voyage. An ever changing crew, transients sharing bedding and workload. Never together Never whole We are now, and we shall ever be, lost Dark sea without end is the only truth here. A world made of waves, salt and spray struggle offers no salvation stagnation offers no salvation There is no safety in vigilance, no solace in caution cold, wet, dead. ___________________________________________________________
Mackinac(Pronounced: Mackinaw)
This island has no soul Purposeful beauty stolen by greedy hands Nature lived here once, a people I would have as kin I am the ancestor of brutality blood stains my heritage
History tells me of our conquest, a divine right. These bookstores, these toffee shops, these chain restaurants and Starbucks knockoffs speak nothing of our great american genocide ________________________________________________________
