Luthen wasn't a hero, and he wasn't trying to be. He was a broken man, a man reduced to a shell of what he once was. He was a war criminal, a participant in atrocities. The rebellion is his penance, his redemption. He destroyed a young girl's home, her family, her life. He gave her his life, his soul, a rebellion. He gave her the galaxy, and he thought even that wouldn't be enough. Let him be forgotten by the galaxy. He deserves that much peace.
