Being alone and godly is better than fitting in and not being like Him. Godliness with contentment is great gain. Being persecuted for being different or for living a life that’s free from sin against your significant other / wife is life. I’d rather be alone until Jesus comes if I can’t live and love like Him in a marriage. I’ll be okay.

I have swept away your offenses like a cloud, your sins like the morning mist. Return to me, for I have redeemed you." Isaiah 44:22
No matter how low you may have sunk or fallen - God still loves you.
When the Prodigal son hit rock bottom, he came to his senses and realised that his father still loved him. The important thing in this story is, he understood his father's love for him.
There’s hope for all who’ve failed thoroughly, who’ve made a mess of their lives, and who’ve reached rock bottom. The Lord can pick you up and make something beautiful out of your life. Remember one thing today: that God still loves you, no matter where you are, or how low you have fallen. May your faith in God’s love not fail.
He doesn’t want us to continue in our sin. God loves you but He hates the sin that will eventually destroy you.
It’s a wonderful thing to be a child of God. When God lays hold of us, He puts a cord of love around us to protect us. There’s a lot of slack in that cord, and you may slip up and fall thousands of times and even drift away from the Lord. But one day, you’ll reach the end of that cord. And then God will pull you right back to Him.
Of course, you can decide at that point, to cut off the cord and run away, or choose to be broken by God’s kindness and mourn and return to Him. That’s what Peter did. He wept and turned back to the Lord. But Judas Iscariot didn’t do that. He cut away the cord - in rebellion against God’s authority over his life - and was eternally lost. But I trust you’ll do what Peter did.

Isaiah 1
November 7, 2022
“Wash yourselves; make yourselves clean; remove the evil of your deeds from before my eyes; cease to do evil,
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭1‬:‭16‬ ‭ESV‬‬
Three characters of the Lord that was highlighted in Isiah 1:
1. Patient God - is spite of the wickedness of his people, you will still see his love towards them, he provided the consequences and the instructions on how and why they beed to get rid off their ungodly doings.
2. Holy God- the chapter speaks about being clean before God, this reminds me that he is Holy and he will not nor dwell to any sin within us. We need to cleansed before him all we have to do is to surrender and have decide to give up the sin that we have.
3. Forgiving God- he is willing to forgive our sins no matter how far we are in God’s sight. The while chapter describes the wickedness of Judah and yet we will notice that there’s a call in between, a call to repent and the picture of what will happen if people turn away from sin. It has been the pattern from the beginning of the verse.

John 8
“Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”
‭‭John‬ ‭8:12‬ ‭
The whole chapter is about Jesus rebuking those who do nor believe in Him. I was struck about “judging others” and reminded that God is our only judge. I suddenly ask forgiveness in prayer if I have judged people in the past and make sure to remind myself about this chapter about judging.
Living in the light means following Jesus, i was reminded that I’m following Jesus so my mindset should be of the light, a life thay gives light to others and the way I should think should always be towards the light no longer in the darkness.
Lord, thank you for these reminders. I thank you also for using L113 to develop this habit of meditating on your Words. Help me and guide me apply these revelations in my life daily. In Jesus name. Amen 🙏
