Pinoy: Nasaan na ang CHR? The PNP is the first institution that has jurisdiction on this. Situation: A boy was murdered. Pinoy: Nasaan na ang CHR? Again, the PNP is the first institution that has jurisdiction on this. Situation: A drug addict murders an innocent child. Pinoy: Nasaan ang CHR? Yet again, the PNP is the first institution that has jurisdiction on this. Situation: A robber kills a vendor. Pinoy: Nasaan ang CHR? And still, the PNP is the first institution that has jurisdiction on this. Situation: A drug addict bus driver runs over a pedestrian. Pinoy: Nasaan ang CHR? Really, the PNP is the first institution that has jurisdiction on this. Get my drift? Okay, so when does the CHR get involved? Situation: Your mother was kidnapped and tortured by the PNP, AFP, or any other government agencies. She has the human right to be treated with dignity by not suffering torture and by going through due process and rule of law. The CHR will get involved. Situation: Your father was executed for rallying against the government. He has the human right, as protected under the Constitution, to freely express, as long as he does not commit any illegal acts like sedition. The CHR will get involved. Situation: Your sister is being sent to a foreign country. Little does she know that she is being lured into sex-for-pay, human trafficking. The CHR will get involved. Situation: Your right to vote, to marry, to speak, to practice your religion, to organize, to work, to have access to health and education, and to move freely in society is taken away. The CHR will get involved to help protect and promote your right, a universal human right.

Hardwork my friend, hardwork.

You went to a private school and I went to a public school, yet we both ended in pursuing our HS fun and dreams. You woke up from the soft bed and I woke up from the floor, we both had a peaceful night rest. We both took the same course but, I went to a state college and you went to an expensive private university, yet we both end up in the same workplace and receive the same salary. Your outfits are all expensive, mine are all simple and cheap, we both still cover our nakedness. You ate fried rice and roasted chicken, I ate street food but we both still ate to our satisfaction. Then, You ride on your own car, I use public transport but we still got to our various destinations.

Lifestyle is not a competition and there are different ways to get a lot of things done, different lanes all leading to the same destination when commitment is steadfast. Just because your neighbor is doing things faster does not mean you are failing. When we keep trying, the glimpse of success may be there to get a start with.

When God is the center of our lives, trying is always an option til His plans are revealed to us... because hard work, tenacity and a load of Faith brings a better and happier life in different forms of success. Goal not only for a rewarding life, but also for a fulfilling one. *repost*

Well based on the awards what do you expect? It is the best war movie that I’ve ever seen. Superb acting, awesome visual effects, and a very inspiring true to life story. Imagine a man named Desmond Doss going to a war without a gun because he stand firm on his principles and beliefs. He was labelled a coward but later on he was recognized as the bravest man because of his heroism.

Here are my take aways:

“Have I been prideful? Maybe I’m prideful. But I don’t know how I’m going to live myself If I dont say true to what I believe.” - Desmond Doss

“ I would say anyone is wrong to try to compromise sombody’s conviction. I don’t care whether it’s army or what it is. When you have conviction, that is not a joke that is who you are”. - Harold Doss

“While everyone is taking lives, I’ll be saving it.”

Respect Comes From Results. Many leaders falsely want respect prior to it being earned.  Doss was considered a coward until he began to bravely save lives.  Then he was considered a hero.

A moment with God can really make a difference. As Doss rescued soldier after soldier, he prayed, “Please Lord help me get one more.” He ended up saving 75 injured infantry men all by him self. In times of crisis never forget that God is always there to guide us and give us the strength to endure.

Purity Matters. Private Doss and fiancee waited until their wedding night to consummate their relationship. What a lovely picture. A true role model to us youth. Wonderful! :)

This is one of the most impactful movie I’ve ever seen. It stirred my heart to be more patriotic for my country. I admire Desmond and Dorothy’s love story, I want my future relationship to be just like theirs, waiting for the right time, and the right moment. Patience is really a virtue tho. HAHA! And know I’m patiently waiting for the right girl to come. Hi Arianne Diaz, I’m here patiently waiting for you.  xD HAHAHAAHA!
