Hi, 2021. To be honest, I am not ready to welcome you yet. I grew up being a Papa's girl and when we lost him last October 2020, I got scared of many things, my world has fallen apart. I've never been so devastated. I hate the fact that I can no longer make new memories with him anymore. Facing the year 2021 is like pointing a gun at myself, having to accept the reality without a choice- that he's dead and we can never have him back again. How could death be so cruel?

I never stop grieving since the day he left us. The pain I feel never subsides. In fact, it hurts more each day. People may see me laugh but deep down I'm aching, I'm weeping. It breaks me that the only thing I can do is to seek for temporary happiness and be permanently missing him.

I appreciate everyone who are doing their best to help me ease the pain but I know in my heart that this wound has no cure. I will carry it until my last day on earth. I love my Papa so much, he's irreplaceable and nobody can ever fill the hole that he left. He's the best. I love him and I miss him hardcore.

If you wonder why I'm writing this, it's because I miss him so much today. I am horribly in deep sorrow. I'm not even sure how to end this but maybe by asking you to pray for him to be at peace. Maybe that will do. Thank you.

Your existence is not insignificant, my love. Just because you may not have found your passion yet, it does not mean you have no purpose. Just because all you can manage to do at the moment is getting through a day without breaking down, it does not mean you are wasting your time. Just because you are not doing big things to change the world, it does not mean you are a bad person. You do not need to achieve big things to have meaning in this world, my love. You may feel as if you do not make a difference but trust me, you do. There are so many little things about you that make this world a better place. Any advice/recommendations for siargao? 🤗

Hello there. :) The first thing that you should do is to read news and be informed na walang bagyong paparating sa date na pipiliin mo for you to be safe esp sa island hopping and para di ma stranded just like what happened to my trip. Hahaha

There are actually lots of beautiful places to go but the distance really consumes time, so make sure that your stay there will be 3 days or more. Para sulit and di bitin.

If it's your first time, I suggest for you to take a tour package offered by any of the trusted travel companies. It will be an advantage for you since they will be the one to plan everything out na sa tour. You don't have to worry na about the itinerary, accommodation, transportation, tickets, entrance fees or even the food. It's really convenient. Rest assured as well that they'll take you to the best destinations safely. Some of the places that you shouldn't miss are Magpupungko, Sugba Lagoon, Coconut Trees View Deck, Sohoton Cove, Club Tara Resort, Naked Island, Daku Island, Guyam Island, Cloud 9 and Pacifico.

If you love night life, then General Luna is the answer to that. For a better Siargao experience, I encourage you to try surfing. You may also ask the tour guide where to rent motorbikes to explore Siargao more. Don't forget to buy ziplock and dry bags as well since you'll really need it during the island hopping (and just in case umulan). And lastly, make sure na you have enough money since medyo costly ang bilihin.
