i loved it 🥹 i’ve been waiting to see the “love can’t cure a mental illness” line in the show since it was first announced and it lived up to my expectations! i loved the progression of nick and charlie’s relationship <3 imogen and isaac stole my heart this season. i might end up drawing them at some point 🩷

so you mean to tell me. s1. the season where mike's main priority is will. where half of all scenes with their bullies happens to contain homophobic comments directed at will . and it happens to focus on mike's reaction . the season in which mike cares about will so much he explicitly states he's only one that does. the season in which the girl he supposedly takes "romantic interest" in (after his friends says he should) was supposed to die and stay dead . the season in which will's sexuality already begins to be hinted at, meaning his love for mike was definitely planned as well.

You mean to tell me it was all just one big coincidence and byler wasn't the plan from the start?? nah

mike has always loved will, he just didn't realize it was romantic love until s3.

el is confused obviously and Nancy,Jonathon,Steve and robin,the rest of the party show up as well as jopper

el runs into maxs arms and through tears she tells them what she saw

they all stare at Mike,not Will who is stood next to him,but Mike

they all see his tears streaming down his cheeks and Will obviously holding his back

Nancy walks over and hugs him muttering “it’s ok,it’s ok Mike” while they all enveloped him in a hug

el is so confused

el suddenly remembers all of the teasing she saw,the bullying,although she didn’t understand some of the words the bullies were saying at the time,she still didn’t

Dustin and Lucas put their hands on mikes shoulder as a sign of “we love you,man”

robin looks at el,something in her brain clicking into place

el breaks down into tears as robin, hopper and Joyce take her away to talk to her
