No one will ever understand how ocd keeps you from being the misleading stereotype of a consistently clean and organized person. That’s not it. That’s sooooo far from reality. I have to put off certain tasks bc of the contamination it takes to complete the tasks. You can only take so many showers in a day and only so many tasks to complete without contaminating yourself again. And to be accused of being untidy is so frustrating because you’re then accused of faking but it’s the illness itself causing you to be this way. I wish I could just have a beautiful comfortable life.
