  Zari never wanted to hurt anyone, not in the slightest. She had spent most of her life avoiding others, trying to keep people at an arm’s length in order to prevent herself from dragging others into her mess. But she got herself in too deep when she fell for Ray. For years, she tried to hide it, keep her little...issue away from the man she loved. But then she went back again. For years, without any warning, any sort of knowledge of what was going on, Zari travelled through time at random, without any warning. She had no idea how it happened, but it did. It was as she had been born with this curse. She had been to the future, to the past, but had finally been stuck in one point for several years, was hoping that she had finally gotten her freedom from her hellish curse. But, three years into meeting Ray, falling for him, marrying him, and here she was, thrown back into the past, facing the younger face of the man she loved, and the fear that she may never be able to get back home.

Day two: Forced to work together

Pairing: Mick/Zari

Forced to partner after his previous editor/publisher suddenly quit, popular sci-fi writer Mick Rory and newly fledged editor and publisher Zari Tomaz don’t get along at first. In fact, they absolutely detest each other, barely talk without getting into an argument. Both of their personalities clash, like two lions fighting for dominance, until suddenly they begin to talk, after a mutual friend forces them to do so. They’re forced to talk, to explain why they hate each other, and after the fact, they realize that they’re not so different. The two see similarities in each other, and then everything begins to change. Once a week, without work in mind, they get drinks, complain about the powers above them, and begin to grow closer, in more ways than one. Mick, who’s spent years burying his heart begins to dig it out of it’s tightly sealed prison, and Zari, who never wanted to love, decides to let herself be happy, do something for her own wants, just this once.

Day one: Timey-Wimey Stuff

Like the seeds from a dandelion, each second just floated by, forcing Cisco to acknowledge that he was closer to what he feared. For months, every night, he had the same dream, where everything seemed to flash in front of his eyes, collapse, fall apart, tear into itself. Why? Because of some visitor, someone who didn’t quite belong, someone with Barry’s face. He knew what the possibility was, as much as Barry had promised to them to stop travelling back in time, to stop messing with the timeline. Something must have gone wrong, or someone powerful had appeared out of the blue, threatening everything they knew and held close. Each night, every night, he had the same dream, over and over, like he was vibing it somehow, forcing himself to see it over and over without even knowing he was doing so. Either way, he knew what was due to come, from the constant images shown to him every time he closed his eyes. In less than 24 hours, there would be two Barry’s in this timeline, and one of them was destined to die, unless he found a way to stop it. The life of the man he loved was in his hands, and he was the only one who had any clue what was going to happen, what was to come.

✿     CHOOSING TO WRITE A POC MUSE?    do your research ,   find out as much as you can about their heritage ,  their culture ,  their values .   this is not a suggestion ,   IT’S YOUR RESPONSIBILITY .    JUST TRY GOOGLE ,   it’s free & easy af

✿      CHOOSING A FACE CLAIM AT RANDOM ?    do your  research ,    it takes like two seconds google ‘ faceclaim name ethnicity ‘    &  you’ll know if your faceclaim of choice is a person of color or not .     WHY IS THIS IMPORTANT ?    well ,  FIRSTLY ,   it’ll give you pointers on how to write them .   SECONDLY ,   it’ll tell you if u can use the neon pink & white psd you’re currently nuttin’ over on your face claim’s sweet face.   

STEP NO. 2    ━━    FEEL LIKE ARGUING WITH THE PERSON TELLING YOU YOU’RE WHITEWASHING YOUR MUSE ?             JUST PLEASE DON’T .

don’t be rude ,  don’t be passive aggressive ,  just politely own up to your mistake ,  & work hard to rectify it as soon as possible.

✿      “OH MY MUSE LOOKS WHITE, I DIDN’T REALISE.”       NO .   like i said ,   do your Research PLEASE.    poc come in all shades ,  a lot of them can be white passing .   but that still doesn’t give you the right to cast them as white nor can their light skin tone be used as an excuse to use a fancy psd that makes them look like casper the ghost. 

✿       “OH I COULDN’T FIND A POC FRIENDLY PSD.”        NO, JUST NO.  YOUR INTENSE DESIRE TO HAVE A FANCY SCHMANCY PSD  doesn’t trump your   RESPONSIBILITY TO PROTECT  & UPHOLD  FACE CLAIM’S IDENTITY & ETHNICITY .   like if worse comes to worse, you can just use plain icons .      ALSO  IT’S 2K19 , STOP SAYING  “OH ALL THE POC PSDS ARE BEHIND A PAY WALL”    it doesn’t just make you sound entitled ,    it’s incredibly hurtful to people who are generous enough to make & post resources for free?       commissions blogs just started popping up like last year, & i don’t think there are more than 50 of us out there.    there are literally so many free bomb af poc friendlly psds out there these days, even i have a free one out that works on all skintones ?   not to mention thousands of rph’s / tutorial posts / photoshop blogs  that will  help you learn how to make a psd yourself .

✿      “ OH , YOUR SCREEN MUST BE TOO DESATURATED , IT LOOKS FINE ON MY END !”       this ,  frankly can be a valid excuse 0.9 %  of the time but isn’t usually.   IT CAN BE AVOIDED THOUGH,  all u need to do is ask a couple of your friends to look at a few images of your fc with the psd applied on different devices.   YES IT’S JUST AS SIMPLE AS THAT.                     also,  be polite ,   there’s no need to act like a smug bum when this is an issue , the person might be genuinely UPSET if they came to you in the first place & their feelings are valid !               ALSO, 99.1% OF THE TIME YOU’RE JUST LYING & USING THIS EXCUSE AS AN EASY WAY OUT ,    WE CAN TELL LMAO.

Ok, so I love zarlie. they’re amazing. they’re my favorite ship in LoT at the moment. I get that some of y’all are disappointed by the whole steelhacker thing (even though i actually really like them bc of the potential for Angst™ with Nate n Zari both being in love with Amaya????), but like, do NOT be an asshole to the actors. Do NOT be an asshole to the writers. This is NOT a) changeable bc all the scenes for this season have been shot already??? b) a representation of an abusive couple. LIke… maybe it is rushed. Maybe you wanted zarlie. But DO NOT BE AN ASSHOLE ABOUT IT. And further, if someone else within the fandom ships steelhacker, for fucks sake, don’t be an asshole to them???? tag your anti???? and don’t send them hate and stuff??? the unfollow button exists?????? people are entitled to their own opinions and like, none of this is actually harmful?????
