I have used EZ-diag for a log time, and today i suddely could not log in. First, the message “The account has been loged in from another device”. I have got new password twice, but can still not log in.

How to Use Tango Programmer to Synchronize Volvo ECU and CEM
Tango Key Programmer Synchro maker Volvo was introduced in Tango software update 1.95. The main function of this maker is to allow, the users of Tango Key Programmer that purchased it,to synchronize ECU and CEM modules found in Volvo vehicles.
In order to use the software you will need to load a dump file from both ECU and CEM modules in Tango software. In case that one of the modules is broken or the chip contents are replaced a file from a replacement (donor) module can be used.
Currently supported types of ECU and CEM contain the following chips:
CEM: 93C86, 28F400 ECU: 93C56,24C04, 95P08
Any combination of the above mentioned can be synchronized.
The main purpose of this document is to show and explain how to properly use this software.
First Start Tango software and select Dump Editor mode:

The Synchronization of the modules begins with loading their dump files in Tango software, in the example used in this document the sync between CEM with 28F400 and ECU with 95P08 will be displayed. It doesn’t matter which file is loaded first
In this guide it will be demonstrated how synchronize the CEM module with the ECU.As a result of the whole procedure a new file for the CEM module will be generated by Tango and this file is synchronized and compatible with the originally loaded ECU file. The reverse operation – creating a new ECU file compatible with the original CEM file can be used instead, the procedure is basically the same.
Synchronization is started with loading the dump file from the CEM module:

If you press the Check Synchro button now, it will display the following error, because at this point the files of the ECU and CEM are not synchronized. NB: If the files are taken from a working car the error will not appear and will write “SUCCESS” instead.

To actually synchronize the files press the arrows beneath “Make Synchro”. The upper arrow that points left will prompt saving a new CEM dump file that is synchronized with the ECU. The second button which points right may be used to create a new ECU dump file instead. Choosing which function to use (create new CEM file or create new ECU file) is up to users’ personal preferences and basically there is no difference. It may be a good idea to base your decision, which module to synchronize, on the unit where it is easier for you to reprogram. As to our example, rewriting FLASH 28F400 is more difficult than 95P08. Therefore it may be a good choice to generate file for the ECU module and write it back. Click the bottom button “Make Synchro” and save the new ECU file. In any case the newly generated file has to be written back in its corresponding module, which will allow both modules to work together once again.

After the new file is generated it is advised to check the synchronization before applying it to the module. Following the example, Press “Load File” under CEM section within the software and select the newly generated by Tango file, which was created in the step above:

in all my years Launch has always been No.1 for multi vehicle scanner and also all brands inside launch is based from original software of dealer …You can get updates here for a year for like 85usd …. always up to date.

I often use genuine Mitsubishi MUT3 to program new Airbag module for Mitsubishi after car got accident, but Launch does not have that function. I prefer using Genuine interface rather than clone because It is better to spend money one time and confident to finish the job than spending more money to buy damaged brick ECU.

If you want to seriously engage in MMС, definitely MUT3, not with any stubs like skandoсk, Scanmatik 2 Pro, and so on, especially the launch, you won’t do anything serious, I have all sorts of crap for mms, but I’m thinking about buying mut3.
although they are talking about the Nissan Renault Mitsubishi alliance based on the Bosch adapter all, as far as I really don’t know.

What is the Difference Between OBD-I and OBD-II
Today’s cars and trucks are literally rolling beds of technology, and the portal to their inner workings is something called an onboard diagnostic system, or OBD for short. All vehicles built within the last two decades have one, and it’s accessed via a port that’s usually situated behind a latch or within a small compartment beneath the dashboard on the driver’s side. Sometimes, it resides in a vehicle’s glove box.
When the “check engine” warning illuminates on your car’s instrument panel or the vehicle is otherwise suffering mechanical issues, a technician can plug an electronic Automotive diagnostic tool into the port to determine what’s wrong. You can do it yourself with the proper device if you’re handy. If not, the myCarfax mobile phone app, available as a free download for OSX and Android phones, can help you find a nearby service shop if you need help diagnosing an issue.
The Car Scanner was the auto industry’s first stab at vehicle diagnostics. It was developed because of a need to regulate tailpipe emissions and largely was enabled by the widespread use of fuel injection systems controlled by onboard computer modules. California gave the system a big push by mandating that all cars sold within the state be equipped with a basic OBD function back in 1991. OBD-I was used in vehicles manufactured before 1996. The onboard diagnostics standard was subsequently upgraded and renamed OBD-II, and has been used in all models sold in the United States since 1996.
Original OBD-I System with Computers
The original OBD-I system wasn’t standard across the industry, and automakers developed their own proprietary diagnostic systems. That meant a technician had to use a different scanner depending on the brand, so a tool that worked on a Chevrolet vehicle couldn’t be used on a Honda, for example. The OBD-II standard, on the other hand, utilizes a universal 16-pin connector and interface that allows the same scan tool to work on all makes and models. While OBD-I required a technician to physically plug a scan tool into the diagnostic port, OBD-II supports wireless operation, via a Wi-Fi or Bluetooth adapter.
OBD-I provided only rudimentary information. This was limited to checking a car’s emissions system, monitoring the engine’s performance and providing limited warning alerts when something went awry.
OBD-II took a big step further by tapping into a car’s electronic control unit to provide detailed information about what specifically ails it. What’s known as freeze-frame data is captured and stored in memory at the moment when a fault is detected. The second-generation diagnostic system also can monitor and provide pertinent vehicle data on a real-time basis. This includes information on engine performance, battery condition, oil and coolant temperature, and fuel pressure, among other systems. It also can be utilized to perform a smog check or emissions test.
A simple OBD scanner, such as the inexpensive units sold at auto parts stores, will display alphanumeric trouble codes to pinpoint engine problems and other issues. A code that starts with the letter P, for example, means it applies to the vehicle’s powertrain. A series of four or five numbers that follow are used to decipher the actual problem. Lists of error codes for specific makes and models are readily available on the Internet and via mobile phone apps. More complex OBD-II code readers will spell out the car’s mechanical issues and can additionally provide performance information on a graphical basis. Beyond Diagnostics
OBD-II System Scanner
An OBD-II port can be tapped to accomplish much more than diagnosing a vehicle’s mechanical maladies.
A number of aftermarket accessories use a car’s OBD-II system to obtain pertinent vehicle information. They can either plug in directly or operate via a wireless adapter and a smartphone. These include analysis tools to provide detailed performance data on a real-time basis and to actively monitor vehicle health, altering the driver when, as an example, the battery’s charge is running precipitously low. A driver can tap the port to keep track of and help maximize a car’s fuel economy.
Other OBD-II-enabled accessories include head-up displays that project vehicle speed and other information onto a car’s windshield in the driver’s line of sight, and those that can turn a vehicle into a rolling Wi-Fi hot spot for Internet connectivity.
You can plug in OBD-II devices that equip a car with various telematics services. For example, Verizon Wireless sells a subscription-based system called Hum that can, among other functions, detect airbag deployment and call for emergency assistance, transmit a stolen car’s location to law enforcement, and send alerts when the car is driven beyond set boundaries.
Automotive tinkerers can even use specific car diagnostic scanner to remap or reprogram a car’s engine management software to wring additional horsepower out of a particular model.
The interface is further being leveraged by auto insurance companies to monitor the motoring habits of its customers via a device that plugs into the OBD-II port. The idea is to reward safe and sane driving via discounted premiums. On the other hand, those who habitually make jackrabbit starts, brake suddenly and exceed the speed limits would see their rates go in the opposite direction. OBD Cybersecurity Issues

Security experts warn that you should be cautious if you’re installing an aftermarket device into your car’s OBD-II port. That’s because the interface can be used as a gateway for hackers to illegally obtain data or otherwise manipulate the vehicle’s functions.
The FBI says vehicle owners should check with the security and privacy policies of a device’s manufacturer and service provider before installing any third-party device to the OBD-II port. Never connect an unknown or untrusted device, and only purchase devices from reputable sources. Be especially wary of those sold secondhand or via an Internet classified listing service.

Setting Up Wireless Communications
The GM MDI II is capable of communicating on your workshop network over Wireless. The Network Setup tab in the MDI Manager software provides a number of functions used to select and configure the MDI 2network connection interfaces including wireless access and security settings.
You must be connected to the MDI 2via USB to access the settings on the Network Setup tab. If you are not connected via USB, the controls on the Network Setup tab are disabled.
The MDI 2supports two methods for wireless communication. With the Access Point Wireless Communication method the MDI 2connects to your PC through an access point in your workshop. With the Point-to-Point Wireless Communication method the MDI 2connects to your PC directly using a USB wireless adapter. Each of these methods are described in the following sections.
Enabling Access Point Wireless Communication Your MDI 2can be configured for Access Point Wireless Communication. Before starting, you need to know the following: 1.An IP Address and Subnet Mask to assign to your MDI 2 (if your LAN does not automatically assign IP addresses) 2.Wireless communication access point SSID (network name) 3.Wireless security password (encryption key) 4.The illustration below shows several MDI 2s connected to a single laptop PC using a wireless access point.

Use the following procedure to configure your MDI 2 for wireless communication in your environment. Before modifying the MDI 2 communications interface, contact your IT Administrator. 1.Start the MDI Manager software by clicking on the MDI Manager icon. 2.Plug the MDI 2 into external 12v power. 3.Plug the USB cable into the PC and MDI 2 and allow the MDI 2 to boot completely. 4.Select and Connect to your MDI 2 in the MDI Manager software MDI 2 Explorer tab. 5.Select the Network Setup tab. 6.From the Wireless tab, select the Enable Wireless Interface check box in the Interface Control section. Once you enable the interface, the IP Address Configuration box and the Apply and Cancel buttons become active. 7.Select Obtain an IP address automatically if your LAN automatically assigns IP addresses. Otherwise enter the assigned IP Address and Subnet mask given to you by your IT Administrator. 8.Select Access Point to begin wireless access point configuration. 9.Specify the network name:a.If your access point usesa hidden SSID or if you are not within range of the access point you will select the Enter Network Name [SSID]: radio button and type the network name.b.If you are within range of your wireless access point, choose the Select from available network list radio button and then select Refresh to cause the MDI 2 to search for wireless network signals. The detected networks are displayed in the Network Name box. 10.  After you have entered the network name, select Configure.11.  Enter the security settings thatare required by your network, then select Next. 12.  Select Yes to reconfigure your OBD2 Scanner MDI 2, or if you want to start over select No. 13.  Choose the Properties tab to verify that the MDI 2 is configured correctly. You can also disconnect the USB cable to verify that the wireless connection is working. 14.  Record or print your settings as they are displayed on the Properties tab for future reference.Enabling Point-to-Point Wireless CommunicationYour MDI 2 will initiallybe configured for Point-to-Point Wireless Communicationon the PC you are connected to. If you need to re-configure Point-to-Point on your MDI 2, use the following procedure. Note that the steps presented below assume you are running the Windows 7 operating system on your PC. The steps for other versions of the Windows operating system may be slightly different. 1.Insert the Wireless USB adapter in an available USB port on your PC. Do not plug the wireless adapter into a USB hub. Power-on your PC. 2.Connect the MDI 2 to your PC using the USB cable and allow the MDI 2 to boot completely. Do not plug the MDI 2 USB cable into a USB hub. 3.Start the MDI Manager software by double-clicking the icon on the PC desktop. 4.The Point-to-Point connection isautomatically configured. Wireless communication will be available when you are powered through the DLC Cable.If you have the need to reset your Point-to-Point passphrase, you can use the following steps.
The following steps assume you are running the Windows 7 operating system on your PC 1.On the right-hand side of the Windows Task Bar, click the View Wireless Networks button. A list of the available wireless networks in range of your PC is displayed. 2.Select Open Network and Sharing Center. 3.Select Manage Wireless Networks from the left column. 4.Select Change adapter menu and choose MDI from the list. 5.Remove your stored Point-to-Point network. The name will contain MDI and the last 8 digits of the MDI 2 serial number, (MDIXXXXXXXX). 6.When you reconnect the MDI 2 to the PC using the USB cable, a new passphrase will be established.
Set Factory Default
Selecting the Set Factory Defaultbutton on the Network Setup tab reconfigures your MDI 2to the Point-to-Point communications settings it had when it left the factory. Any software upgrades that have been installed to the MDI 2are still installed. When the car diagnostic scanner MDI 2 reset is finished, the MDI Manager software displays the MDI 2Explorer tab.All wireless AP configurations will be lost.
