He hadn't seen her in a while, which would explain the loss of memory, although the tight, pink curls did seem to set off a bell in the back of his mind. He was normally very good at remembering names and faces, but some always seemed to escape him. Especially with the stress that was brought on by senior year, everything was becoming harder and harder to remember.

Kaito proceeded to walk briskly through the empty halls, the final bell of the day having rung a couple of minutes before. He didn't want to be late. The hallways always cleared out quickly, as students rushed to collect their belongings before heading back to their homes after another long day of school. But this wasn't the case for the blunette; it rarely was. Whether it was school projects or student council business or merely assisting in whatever way he could, it would be a miracle that he would one day go home as soon as the bell rang.

This time, though, his business happened to consist of a study session with his long-time companion, Luka. They had a test soon, and it was necessary that they study in order to get high marks. But they felt it was more productive if they studied together every so often, especially for this class, since it was their hardest to date. It was much more helpful having a peer to revise your mistakes and assist in remembering all that was needed.

Finally arriving at the library, Kaito stepped in and returned the wave Luka gave him as soon as she spotted him, a friendly smile appearing on his lips. "Hey, Luka!" He gripped his book bag and set it on the table, while sitting where the female had indicated. "Sure am! Looks like you've gotten a bit ahead of me, haha. Luckily, I'd written notes yesterday at home, so that's done with." While he spoke, he continued to pull out his binders and books, setting them out next to her own materials.

"So, where do we start?"

It was time to squeeze in another study session with her frequent study buddy, Kaito Shion. The two shared a few classes so it was only natural that they would help eachother out. And with a test coming up soon, Luka could only hope Kaito would be as serious about studying as she, which he always was.

Waiting at one of their usual meet-up places, this time the library, the pinkette sat with her legs crossed underneath her while unzipping her bag and pulling out a couple of textbooks before laying them out on the table. She figured she would come in a little earlier than usual and get a headstart. Luka had already re-writen herself a sided page of notes to help commit the information to memory by the time the blue-haired teen had finally come around. Looking up from from her book, the girl offered him a smile and a friendly wave.

“Hello again, Kaito!” she greeted, sitting up more in her seat and moving over a bit to make some room, even if there was already enough. “So are you ready to tackle this thing, or what?”
